I have been coming to this location for 10 years and find the experience overall to be positive. They do tend to get busy but I think that is because they do a good job. Dr Nguyen is excellent and Mackenzie has always been very helpful with purchasing glasses and helping with special orders.

Would probably avoid this location if you can help it. When I walked in, it looked like I was in a Verizon wireless cell phone store. People walking everywhere 1000 eyeglasses slammed up in your face was hard to tell what was going on. Most of the receptionist were all talking to themselves on their phones or not really paying attention. Made a medical appointment with one of the eye doctor dudes There cost $160 out of pocket and I probably spent 10 minutes in the back before he walked me out the front with a prescription in my hand. This is before they snuck in a completely unnecessary eye exam, which had nothing to do with my medical appointment. Two days later the eyedrop they prescribed me were causing me severe pain and discomfort. I called the location to try to be seen again to figure this out and they informed me that I would have to pay another entire office visit in order to see what they did to me. While expressing frustration with the dr Nguyen lady, she kept talking over me, down to me, and then eventually hung up on me when she got bored realizing there was no opportunity to make money here. If you're looking for a high-pressure stressful eyeglasses buying experience this is your place!

Our experience at the MeEyeDr in Prince Frederick was exceptional! The doctor was incredibly friendly, professional, proactive and knowledgeable. Our technician that fit our new glasses and offered us all the things that were available to us for our glasses was exemplary! We have never been to such a wonderful eye care practice than this one in Prince Frederick.

This place is phenomenal. Dr Nyugen is always so professional and has such a great bedside manner. She will actively listen to your concerns and genuinely wants to help. All the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Jessica was great in helping me adjust my glasses. 1000 % recommend. Tip. Make your appt early in advance. They book up quickly.

Scheduled an emergency appointment, had to leave work to drive there. I said clearly I'd be late to my appointment by a little bit because it was scheduled for 10:45and I left work immediately at 10:10. They said it was fine. I'm pulling up in parking lot at 10:57, and I get a call saying there's only a 10 minute grace period and I have to reschedule. The girl on the phone was rude and short with me and offered no exceptions. The only reason I'm writing a poor review is because it's not the first time someone has been this way to me on the phone here, and now I have to deal with pain in my eye all day. I will be finding another eye doctors office

Front desk, Spoke to Dominique-rude snappy and condescending, and cut me off, rolling her eyes. It was like she didn't want to be bothered helping the customer. When trying to ask when my daughter was eligible for her appointment, this was the front desk staff. Brought my child for appointment, the store kept the appointment and did not tell us to come back 2 weeks later when both our benefits would be eligible. After the exam, they told us there was an 100 dollar charge copay. This should have NEVER been a charge. They should have verified benefits completely, and notified before the exam, not after that it would be a charge. Then we would have had the option to do it a later date. I spoke to Kristina assistant manager-also argumentative and condescending, who would not give me a number or contact information to the manager or district manager. And when I described the behavior of her employees at the store and what they looked like, black female in her 20's, she got defensive and upset. It's your job as management to manage your employees that are considering, interrupting and rude. Kristina told me to google the number if I wanted to speak to a manager!!!! I called back to let them know the instructions they gave my daughter for contacts we NOT legible. See the picture. Also, my husband was supposed to be able to order contacts fully covered by insurance the day of the appointment. He said yes he wanted contacts ordered, but they were not!! So now we have ru pay completely out of pocket. This place is fraudulent. Don't use them. The staff is rude, and charges you without verifying your consent or insurance coverage. How can you say people owe you when they were told before the appointment that they were covered??? Don't go here. Dominique and Kristina employees should not be here.

We found a new eye doctor! I don't know how this office managed to be off my radar but after numerous cancellations/rescheduling of our appointments by another large local optometry office (and waiting for 3-6 months to get another appointment), someone referred us to Dr. Dumas. He and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was amazed how quickly we were seen, the thoroughness of the exam and the length of time of the entire process from start to finish (you just about had to pack your lunch at the other facility). So glad we found Dr. Dumas and his staff. We highly recommend!

Went into the Prince Frederick location to get some lenses put in my sunglasses. They had just opened and the young lady at the front was extremely nice. They were pretty busy and I was just a walk in, but Jessica took excellent care of me. I hardly had to wait at all and she was so knowledgeable about the process and my sunglasses, I was truly impressed. Fingers crossed. I get them back quickly, but that's definitely not any reflection on the store either way. I know that Jessica got them in process ASAP. She was really great to work with.
