Dulaney Eye Institute

Went today for my 4th retina eye surgery. All the nurses are good, however Jackie is the best! Very attentive and humorous, and hears what the patient says. She's the best!

Exceptional care, very knowledgeable Doctors (surgeons) and Nurses that take time to explain and answer questions. Higly recommend !

I have had surgeries at many places during my life, and my experience at Dulaney Eye Institute was top tier! Everyone was professional, efficient, and caring. Dr. Zimmerman made everything go smoothly; Tina and Lisa were just two of the nurses who took care of me. Highly recommend Dulaney Eye Institute!

Very very very slow place. Both time appointment was at 7:15 am. We get here way before that time and both time wait for 2 plus hours to get cataract surgery which takes 10minutes. Do not come go to thisnplace of your doctor is doing your cataract surgery here. I wish I had known. No respect for the patient or their caregiver time.

The entire experience was excellent. Each person I encountered was pleasant and professional. I received thorough explanations of what to expect. Dr. Katz, the anesthesiologist Renee, the nurse Jen, were all outstanding. They helped me to relax. The nurse who gave me instructions for after surgery was awesome as well.

From the time we arrived, everything from the front desk reception to the dismissal of the patient (my mom)was extraordinary and very professional. Dr. Katzen and the staff were phenomenal. If you as the patient follow the booklet and read all the information given you will have a great experience. Every step is lined out and easy to follow. We have nothing but a big thanks to you all. I had a Great experience at Dulaney. From the front desk staff to the nurses assisting with my procedure, Dr. Booth best Ophthalmology ever. The nurses and anesthesiologist were very friendly, professional, caring and kind. I received the best care. Great Atmosphere, Great Staff, Great Facility. Thank You to everyone whom assisted me from start to finish. I am going back again for my second procedure in two weeks. I hope to have the same,experience, if not better. However, I don't know how they could even top my first visit. The nurses had me laughing before I had any type of sedative. Thanks Again! L. My grandmother has been a Dulaney Eye Institute patient for the past 4 months. She had sudden vision changes and urgently needed to see an ophthalmologist. We were able to get an appointment quickly, especially for a specialty. All of the staff are very kind and work hard to accommodate her wheelchair use and limited mobility. Her doctor, Dr. Nelson, takes the time to listen to my grandmother's concerns and to explain every diagnosis and procedure. He strikes a good balance between efficiency and great bedside manner. He was even able to consult with a retina specialist during her very first appointment since Dulaney Eye shares space with the National Retina Institute. Overall, I highly recommend Dulaney Eye Institute, especially for older adults who require extra care.
