Glaucoma Consultants

Recently had my first appointment at this Glaucoma Consultants. The office was clean, organized and efficient. The technician I worked with was attentive and did his job well. I was not impressed with Dr. Jindal. She was rather short and impersonal and spoke in a very abrasive way. She was not listening well and seemed to be trying to rush through and check boxes. She would ask me the same question 3 times within one minute of each other, as if she had not listened to my first 2 responses. Finally, when I would ask a question or make a statement, she was not listening well and responded to everything in an abrasive and rude way, she is not necessarily a kind doctor. Yet, they say she is the best and top doctor as far as glaucoma management. These must be rankings by other physicians because there is no way these are ratings by patient experience.

After 30 years of seeing Dr Schwartz I am seeking a new Dr. I was sent to collections for $45, from my last visit(July). I had inquired about paying my bill in full each visit, but was told insurance billing caused 2 part billing, copay upfront, and the undetermined until insurance responds balance, later. I have always reconciled my bill when I paid my copay. I never complained about the amount, and would gladly pay any late fees(I never looked). It was never about amount, but timing. I thought that I had a working solution, because I had offered to pay in full at each appointment, and was told that was not possible. Appearantly, I was not supposed to have a problem with being sent to collections. I was not supposed to take it personally, despite having always paid my bill. Decades of track record meant nothing. "We have to treat all patients the same." rang hollow. Yet the (all new since July) front desk staff was free to take my being upset, and complaining, as personally offensive. I did not curse. I was spirited and maybe louder than I should have been, but I was not insulting or demeaning. So if you want to be a number on a screen, this is the office for you

Dr. Schwartz is an amazing Ophthalmologist, who truly loves what she does. Since my first office visit she made me feel comfortable and encouraged that she would figure out what was going on with my eye, and that is exactly what she did. I'm very grateful for Dr. Schwartz's compassion towards me.. I m forever grateful to her for all that she has done for me. THANK YOU, so much..

Above and Beyond the BEST doctor and staff! Dr. Schwartz is amazing, knows her stuff and takes special care of her patients. You are safe and secure in her hands.

Dr. Schwartz is GREAT. Techs are pleasant and more than competent. Lady at Dr. Schwartz's checkout could smile once in a while, God forbid.

8/2021 I have been a patient at Glaucoma Consultant at GBMC 2 yrs. I am very pleased with the attention and care I receive from Dr Jindal. I am very pleased with all aspects: the well informed front desk staff , medical assistants, and Dr Jindal. This place is v well run. I really appreciate that each phone call is answered promptly by a real person and dealt with efficiency and knowledge of my case. Thank you

Yup this place sucks ! Dr follano doesn't care about her patients like this all farmaceutical thing! They only care about $$$$
