City Eye

Dr. Youssef is excellent, but the staff managing appointments need some help. My appointment was also accidentally cancelled when the staff meant to cancel my daughters' appointment. When visited recently, the staff member couldn't answer a question regarding insurance, then obviously got the answer wrong as I pointed out that it didn't make sense. I will need to take my business elsewhere. Eye City - you can only be as good as the staff are. Please do better.

The actual service was good. I am however very upset when I asked to confirm if they were in network with my insurer, and they confirmed yes, only to find out I was charged fully out of pocket for my exam because they are in fact out of network. My insurer covers my exam 100% and I could have cancelled my appointment if I was not led astray. Update: After speaking with the office manager about the above mentioned issue, I was told I would receive a full refund, they only issued a partial. Not to mention my prescription is off, using their digital only testing equipment. Had ordered glasses with the prescription, only to find it's off, so I've wasted a few hundred dollars on a pair that are rendered useless. Don't bother using this office, alot to be desired here. THEY ARE NOT HONEST!

I went to an outside eye doctor and then had glasses made at LensCrafters. Glasses weren't right from minute I got them. It was the prescription not the glasses. Tried to go back to Dr to have her re examine my eyes and despite many attempts she just changed the prescription and incorrectly. At LensCrafters they were so helpful she was able to look into my insurance and see that I could get my eye re examined there and it would be covered. They fit me right it and listened to me about what was not right. I now use my new glasses and they are great. So appreciative for their help.

Prompt, friendly and competent service. Was able to talk through issues about my eye health and knew my options after the visit.

Dr. Yousef has seen my 2 teen daughters and I can confidently say that she is an excellent practitioner. This was our second visit with her, and I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, informative doctor. She took her time thoroughly explaining every detail to my teens and kindly answered any questions they had for her. Again, I highly recommend Dr. Yousef.

The staff is friendly and office is clean . This year when I had my exam done it ended up being a virtual appointment which initially I didn't know but needed my exam done so I went ahead with the virtual appointment. I don't believe my test was done 100% though this year because once I took my contacts out and did the test with one eye covered we never did the test with which is clearer with both eyes and everyone who works in an eye drs office and it's just common sense that seeing with both eyes is completely different and better than with one eye covered so in the end it ended up messing with my prescription and now I have two different contacts for each eye (yes I know it can happen but I think if the test was done with both eyes it would be the same for both eyes like it had been for the last 20 years). And the price I paid to have this exam done it should've been 110% through and honestly there should be no virtual appointments if you book for an in office visit and if that's how it was going to be then when I booked online it should've said virtual and I would've either booked another day or somewhere else. They also (2nd time now) only write my prescription for one brand and I tell them from the start I wear Acuvue brand and the place I get my contacts do not carry the Ray Ban brand plus after a few hours the contacts are not clear to see through and make up sticks to them. So they NEED to actually listen to the patient and prescribe them a brand they like and have used for many many years and not what they feel like. I wont be using them again for my next exam after this year paying the price I did, but having a complete exam and then being prescribed a brand of contacts I expressed I don't use and they HAVE the brand I DO USE. Plus I think I ended up being charged for the trail contacts they gave me and one was not anywhere near what my actual prescription was because I couldn't see clearly and I expressed that right after I put the contact in and they still made me keep it for a little while "to let me eyes adjust and get used to it" I know my eyes and knew it wasn't correct then the Dr when she came in virtually she told him to get me a different one and the second I put it in I could see better not fully what I think it should be and not "drunk" in one eye so again if the test was done 100% and the dr was actually in the office it 99% most likely would've been a better through visit. I also do not think we should be charged for their faults and something that's not clear for us to see out of. What I paid was $50 more than what he told me the most it could be for the visit so being charged for that "trial" contact that was his/their wrong makes sense to why it was more but shouldn't have been charged for it.

Such a great experience no complaints what so ever. I'll definitely be back.
