My husband and I see Dr Howerter, He is Absolutely the best! Outstanding warm Personality so Knowledgeable, Never rushes your appointment. Takes the time to answer any question you might have. He is incredible!! Also the entire staff is wonderful.Always so Friendly and Helpful!

I had a crazy commute! 7 miles took me 42 minutes at 7:03am. I tried to call to let them know about the sitch...(big accident on 128), they couldn't transfer me, the phone line weren't open-yuck! When I finally arrived 13 minutes late!!!!!- the woman at the front desk was SO UNDERSTANDING, then the Tech, Cheryl, was AMAZING!(remember this is at 7:45am) then we got through the preliminary eye exam, and I met with Dr Pierre- HELLO! Another amazing part of my visit- is he: Thorough, clear, communicative, honest, positive, helpful! Everything was perfect. I can't thank Lahey Burlington Opthology Dept enough. What a great experience. My appointment was 6/9/2025, 7:30a. I was back in my car to go home by 8:22am. Wonderful experience, thank you Lahey team!!!! Xoxo

I recall waiting repeatedly 20-40 min on the phone with this office just to book an appointment and for whatever reason any time I was seen they failed to properly diagnose my condition and refused me proper treatment. So much for the Hippocratic Oath. These so-called professionals by leaving me untreated and uncared for caused me an autoimmune disorder that prevented me from walking and has destroyed so many areas of my life. A simple medicine is all that was needed and they missed the mark completely. I'll never understand why they did this but I would not bring your loved ones or yourself here. After YEARS of asking for help time and time and time again, they ended up telling me my health insurance wasn't welcome there anymore. I was left to marinate with an eye infection that should've been treated with the proper medicine and the repercussions this has had on my physical health, mental health, personal relationships, work, and welfare are too numerous to list. I was so sick I couldn't function and no one would help me. Shame on these people. Just stay away. No point in trying as even advocating for yourself doesn't work here. Sad.

Terrible terrible service. They strung along my mom who is 76 years old with appointments that they canceled after she showed up not once but three times. Beware of using this practice. Their doctors seem to be calling sick every time we have an appointment. Go to lahey Arlington much better service. They should just close this office if they cannot get providers to support them.

No matter when you come for an appointment, the wait times are ridiculous!!!!! Ignorance at its finest. They should not take patients that show up late either. The only department that makes u wait every time. Wish my dad would find a new place to go.

Whenever I come home from an appointment here I tell my wife that she should switch from that eye place in Lexington! I used to go there too, and these people don't make you wait nearly as long! Maybe I'm just lucky, but for an eye exam I am always out after less than an hour. I've also been happy with all the eye doctors I've seen.

The worst office. I only came here because there was a specialist I needed to see who was one of a kind and the DR herself was fantastic. The front desk staff is awful though. They are impossible to get a hold of, and when my doctor left the practice no one called, or anything. I was supposed to have a follow-up appointment that they were going to call and schedule, but instead crickets, not even a call to set me up with a replacement doctor. Thankfully another Dr informed me of her moving. Worst office ever, and PS the waits are ridiculous.
