Eye Health Vision Centers Fairhaven

I've been coming to this location and seeing Dr. Mastrolia for over 15 years now. I have never considered any other doctor or practice. Out of all the medical professionals I see, he is my favorite. I look forward to appointments. The staff here are lovely and it's so easy to schedule appointments in a timely manner. 10/10

I was seen a few years ago maybe 2022. Was the worst experience ever. The doctor came in and never introduced herself. Did the exam in leggings and a t shirt so I don't even know if she was even a doctor. She said I needed an eye drops but didn't specify. I asked if I needed a rx. The person said - "FOR EYE DROPS." With Sarcasm. I have worked in the medical field for many years. I walked in there with sweat pants and big sweater and African American. I feel like if I was of different ethnicity I would have been treated better. Anyways I'm saying this because I am looking for a new eye doctor but I refuse to go there. I will travel if i have too.

The doctors here are top notch. The optical and contact center women doesn't know left from right. You call asking a question and she always replies "oh I'll make a note." But when you call again she will repeat the same thing and is shocked when you tell her "you've told me you made a note yesterday". That women should be fired because more and more patients I've spoken to said she's the reason they are finding a new eye doctor. I just wanted to go back to my daily contacts (I've had them prior just used monthly for a better cost). She couldn't figure it out. I call Dartmouth and the manager said this was an easy request and to just come here since many people are calling and complaining about her. I'll miss my doctor but not worth the god awful service of the older women in the optical/contact center.

STAY AWAY. I've worn glasses my entire life, I've always gone to LensCrafters but they stopped taking my insurance. I decided to try Eye Health in Fairhaven and I've never been treated so poorly. One of the assistance who stunk of cigarettes told me not to waste her time because I was curious about contacts. They told me a contact fitting fee was $150 and not covered by my insurance, this was false. I took my business to Visionworks in Wareham, they are amazing. They took the time to look through my insurance and make sure I was using all my benefits.

I bought my first pair of glasses in early April. I was so happy that within 2 weeks, I went back for prescription sunglasses. Both pairs are excellent. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Michelle was genuinely so fantastic. Great experience overall, and definitely will make my future purchases there.

I used to be a patient here in the past and had switched to Walmart Vision Center and now I remember why. I was on my way to my appointment after making arrangements with my job to be able to attend. I got stuck at the Fairhaven bridge and called to let them know that I would be 5 minutes late due to me having to turn around. The receptionist on the phone told me I had to reschedule my appointment because they were going to start lunches soon. As a result I had to take the day off completely from work. I work with the public and I have NEVER turned a client away due to my lunch schedule. Usually there is a 15 minute grace period for when things like this happen, never in all of my experiences with any appointments have I been turned away for 5 minutes due to a valid reason. When I arrived for my 1:30 appointment I was asked if I had an appointment scheduled. There was a patient that arrived 5 minutes late and stated he was late for the same exact reason. I am so upset about this especially because of how hard it is to work around my work schedule and their hours of operation. I expected better customer service especially after reading all of their other reviews. Would definitely not recommend this location if this is how they conduct business especially after having the courtesy to call and let them know.

Dr. Loerinc was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and kind. She took her time to give me a very thorough examination and answer all my questions. She made me feel at ease throughout. The entire experience was a pleasure and I highly recommend her.

Patricia in the optical center has extremely poor people skills. I had ordered glasses, and after a couple months of not receiving them I called in to find out my insurance declined them. I never received a call saying my insurance declined them, this is all after I hand delivered a prior authorization from my insurance for them , mind you. I called in last week got Patricia and she said she would look into it. This week I called back because I hadn't heard back from her, and I got another woman on the phone who was very polite, and she was u aware of the situation but said she would get back to me. This morning I get a call back from an angry Patricia , who gave me a hard time about me wanting open communication, then in turn hung up on me. All of this could have been avoided if I originally had gotten a call when the insurance declined the claim,allegedly.
