Long wait times to get appointments so don't miss any and have the need to reschedule! You also have to call in the parking lot to check in from your car before you can come in to the building. Which can take a very long time because they will put you on hold and transfer you to more than one other person. They don't have a portal. Major bummer... I had to ask for a copy of my glasses prescription; they never gave me a copy when I was last seen. And they had to mail it to me the old-fashioned way, taking days, not seconds, through a portal. I could not find an email to contact them on the website. I tried to go to the Athol website on my computer, and the site wouldn't even pull up. Going off of Google, Athol is only open 2 days this whole week! The wait time once inside isn't too long. The wait time in the office is also short. The staff are nice. The place is clean. The copay was $60, telling me they are a specialist when I only paid $30 the last time I went. I would not recommend this place.

They had problems dilating both eyes. But the most dissatisfying was the equipment was not cleaned before or after use. No attempt at all. They give you sunglasses to wear in the office they were also dirty. Dr did not send diabetic eye exam results to my primary care as promised. It was also concerning the tech doing all pre work was only on the job a few months. Unlikely I'll go back.

Fix your Google info. Having hours saying you're open but then being told "they're just not open every day" is really dumb. I shouldn't have to call to get your hours because they aren't correct online. So I sent my daughter to get her glasses to only find out you just aren't open today. Transparency is key. Also COVID is over. Yes people can still get COVID but having to check in for appointments over the phone still is so stupid and a waste of time.

If I could give a zero I would horrible customer service does not take responsibility. submitted my prescription waited over a month no response when I inquired they stated they text my phone and oh it went to spam. You're treated well if you're from Gardner if you know you know

Terrible service, I have been getting the runaround for the past 6 weeks trying to get my special prescription eyeglasses, I've gotten no help from that gardener office at all, Not very good staff

Stressful!!! I finally switched to an incredible eye doctor, this place was VERY stress inducing. The front staff were bothered and the providers lacked the empathy and bedside manner needed for the medical field. I was given a misdiagnosis, the doctors are so rushed and after what I experienced, they just dont have the time to stop for a second and reassess. Would definitely recommend seeking care elsewhere! I finally found an eye doctor that loves what she does, takes her time and my eyes are healthy!
