The eye exam at the Norwell location was for our mom, who is 88, uses a wheelchair, and lives with some dementia. The staff at Neilson Eye Center was incredibly accommodating and supportive from booking her appointment to the care they provided throughout her exam. Because we rely on handicap transportation and need two family members to assist her, every appointment requires significant planning and coordination across multiple people and organizations. After her exam, she needed a follow-up with another specialist. We explained to the front desk how challenging it can be to schedule additional visits, and we asked whether it might be possible to complete the follow-up the same day. Janet, at the front desk, went out of her way to speak with the team, and they were able to fit her in for the 20-minute follow-up later that afternoon. While we waited, Janet kindly brought our mom snacks, juice, and water -- a small gesture that meant a lot to us. Beyond their patient-first approach, Neilson Eye Center uses the latest technologies, which allowed them to gather accurate clinical information even with the communication challenges that sometimes come with dementia. Their physician team is also highly specialized, ensuring excellent care and outcomes. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Norwell location of the Neilson Eye Center.

I had a great experience with my lasik process from exam, surgery to the follow up. The only thing I thought was confusing after my initial consultation in Weymouth, was how to prepare for my surgery properly. My eyes were dilated and the sheet she gave me didn't go into detail of using the drops the week prior and she didn't have a sample at the time. Luckily I got a phone call the week before to give me instructions on what to do before going into Quincy location for surgery. They were really thorough right before the surgery, and my mom could be with me and also watch! A couple days later as I was recovering Dr. Khanna reached out asking how I was feeling. She is the best. My post op in Norwell was quick and everyone was so kind at every location. If you're going through with LASIK, and qualify, it is expensive yes, but the surgery will pay for itself in 5 years not having to get glasses ever again! (Except readers when I'm older ) but I can pay $2 for those! Thanks again for making my experience comfortable.

I can't say enough good about Dr. Lopez and staff. From the ladies and the reception desk (Kellani and Kella) to the tech (I apologize, I don't recall her name, but she was soo pleasant and cheerful) you see before the doctor and then Dr. Lopez. You literally feel happy, they are kind, welcoming and can answer all questions. I wish I knew about them years back when the place I was going to was in transition. Obviously I'm not a doctor, but I swear if only I had my other cataract surgery done with Nielsen Ctr I could have possibly had a better outcome. But I am now grateful to have a staff that I trust AND enjoy !!! You will not have any regrets if you choose (and you should) Nielsen Ctr.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes one week apart. Painless. No complications and no side effects thanks to my surgeon, Dr. Nitasha Khanna. Any concerns that I had pre surgery were unfounded. From check in to discharge every single person was warm and professional. The camaraderie amongst the surgical team was light and I think, remarkable. Nice people Everyone is focused on and attentive to the patients. Shout out to Anesthesiologist Mike who is so funny Gabby who is so lovely Beautiful people all. Thank you so much for my new eyes.

Dr. Nielsen and Dr. Linsey are Fabulous! They both are very thorough, take the time to explain your exam, and supportive. I am very happy with the staff as well. Very friendly and helpful. I Definitely would recommend Nielsen Eye Center. I'm very glad they were recommended to me.

Just had my first exam at Nielsen Eye Center in Norwell. Dr Ng was a great communicator and really made the experience as easy as could be! Will definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for an eye doctor who provides exceptional care and services.

Cedrick was incredibly helpful in getting me set up with my Meta glasses and I have to say, these are an absolute game changer! The process was super smooth from start to finish, and the glasses arrived in less than a week. I'm really impressed with how quick and easy everything was. I took my mom to get a new pair and Link helped us out. She was so kind and helpful, my mom didn't have her insurance card and link was able to help us find the correct coverage immediately. 10/10 recommend her! They also had great options my mom left with 2 pairs !
