Easily the best experience I have ever had with a Dr. He made it easy, provided answers and tended to my needs

I live in a town nearby and came for glasses for the first time. It was very clear that Tom's business is not only an important resource, but that Tom himself is a valuable part of the community, he was great! It's hard to find places with a personal touch. He was welcoming, helpful and patient, he gave advice and took zero offense when I didn't agree. (Side note- opticians who take masshealth for glasses are very rare. Opticians who've invested in such a large selection of masshealth frames are unheard of! I've never had more than 10 frames to choose from at the very most. Other places don't want to spend the money to have a bigger selection of frames for people with masshealth. I think those decisions say a lot about how much a business really cares about the people they serve.)

Tom the Optician is awesome! I thought I needed new lenses but when I brought my glasses in, he just fixed them on the spot with a small adjustment and sent me on my way. Perfect experience. Thanks!

Best place to go for eyeglasses and/or contacts! Tom always puts a smile on every customers face and goes above&beyond to make sure you're comfortable and more than satisfied before leaving. I've been loyal customer of his for almost 20years now!

The Optician is a small town business in a rural part of Massachusetts, and is a great opportunity to support a local business. Chains may have somewhat lower prices, but they don't give the personalized service. I have been doing business with Tom for a very long time, even when living a fair distance from Shelburne Falls, and have always felt great about the advice and products I have gotten from him. By all means patronize The Optician, you will not regret it.

Best place to get glasses in the whole world. Tom's work is perfect, competent, always on time. Tom makes you feel like you're the only patient in the world. Grateful to have this wonderful service in Shelburne Falls and conveniently located in the middle of town, right of the Mohawk Trail.

My wife ordered new glasses from The Optician to replace her one and only broken pair and after patiently waiting three and a half weeks hoping for a call from The Optician that her new glasses were ready, she called and found out that her order hadn't even been placed! This apparently had to do with the fact that the glasses were being processed through MassHealth and the fact that only one pair of glasses is permitted in a year, but regardless, a simple phone call letting her know about the delay and the fact that it was going to take more like two months would have been courteous. We have decided that it would be much less of a hassle to order the glasses online and pay out of pocket for them. Good communication and the courtesy of a phone call would have changed our experience with this place for the better.

I have been using the optician since my first pair of glasses, years ago. I have had prompt service and any issues (caused by myself) have been resolved quickly. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
