Pearle Vision

I needed a copy of 2024 and 2023 prescription as I had misplaced mine They were emailed promptly. Got a bill for $ 100 for this service which is a straightforward clerical function. Seems a bit much. Had I known ....would have looked a lot harder. Just FYI.

Connie went above and beyond helping me, had issues with my glasses and kept coming back and every time she was always ready to help and patient with me. I am very grateful she was the one helping me and cant thank her enough

While I'm usually not a fan of going through the 'new glasses' process, the staff at Pearle Vision in Wilmington made it completely painless. We were purchasing glasses for three of us. Myself, my wife and our 9 year old son. I expected the selection process to take forever and then jumped in JOSE LUIS! While we were struggling with random frames, Jose took a look at our faces, made some notes in his head, turned around and scanned the displays. He selected a pair for me, my wife, and for my son asking 'what do you think of these?'. For all three of us, Jose's recommendation ended up being the frames we selected! Frankly, I was stunned. I'm not sure how he did it, but analyzing instantly what frames look best on different shaped faces must be Jose's his super power. Then, after our frame selection, Jose very quickly put everything through our insurance, explained our benefits and the total cost was far less than I had budgeted. All in all, we were there under an hour which must be some kind of record. On the way home, my wife and I kept commenting on how it was easily the most positive experience either of us has had purchasing new frames and lenses. Huge thanks to JOSE LUIS and the staff at Pearle Vision Wilmington. This is absolutely our new glasses spot and we don't even live in Wilmington! -Steve S.

I honestly can't write a review that will explain just how fantastic this business is. I had to schedule an eye appointment in the middle of the day and bring a kiddo with me because of the timing. Not only did Dr. Smith welcome me and my kiddo into the practice, but he took his time to explain some of the equipment in the screening room and show kiddo the inside of my eyes -- which he was obsessed with. Dr. Smith made me feel so reassured with the testing and his explanations of what was going on with my eyes and what I should do moving forward and be on the lookout for. I will recommend Wilmington Eye Group to anyone and everyone. Thank you again for the efficiency, friendliness, and professionalism you all display from the front desk staff to the doctors.

FANTASTIC high-quality customer service! Dr. Duane Smith is the best Optometrist I've ever been to! He's awesome! He provided a very in-depth eye exam, and asked detailed questions related to ensure all of my vision needs were met. Eva, Optician, was fabulous and spent so much time providing advice and feedback while I tried on soooo many different frames :) Thanks to Eva's patience, I found the perfect frames! Overall AWESOME experience and great products! I highly recommend Pearle Vision Wilmington! A++++++++++++++++++

Staff was amazing! My family and I love our glasses!

LOVED the franchise owner; she was phenomenal helping me pick out a pair of new glasses. I have a small, narrow face so trying to find a pair that is both for an adult while being feminine is a challenge and she nailed it! I admit, though, my 3-star review is only because of my experience with her. I am not totally impressed with the eye doctor; her bedside manner leaves much to be desired. She casually mentioned I might have serious eye issues and we'll watch it -- not something to be casually thrown around! She backtracked when I asked her to clarify saying it was probably nothing to worry about. Um, thanks, now I'm worried. Also, not sure if it's an industry standard or her preference, but she gave me a new pair of contacts to try, telling me what I previously used was no longer an option. They were much heavier and hard to wear, but she said 2 weeks was plenty of time to adjust. Fast forward 3 months and I find I can only wear contacts for a few hours a day, a max of 3 times in a row. Then I need to wear glasses for a day or two to give my eyes a break. Never had that happen before! Also, had to go back to get my lenses fixed because the doctor corrected for something in the prescription that had never been an issue; was getting migraines wearing the new lenses.

This past week I had my first appointment at Pearle Vision after having to switch eye doctors. Dr. Alex Russakovsky is the first eye doctor I have had that took the time during our appointment to give a thorough exam & answer all of my outstanding questions. She was kind & knowledgeable as were the rest of the staff. Highly recommend!
