My experience was so good I had to share. This was the most welcoming, family friendly MEDICAL office I've ever been to. Not just eye center. I wish I could personally thank whoever hires the staff here I enjoyed my experience so much. They were considerate of childrens needs, very kid friendly and my son loves them all. The doctors were so charasmatic and knowledgeable (explained more about my eye sight to me then anyone in the past). On top of that, I normally procrastinate for HOURS on the right pair of frames in the past but the frame sales team made me love picking out frames so much I'm definitely coming back here when buying more - it felt easy, fun, informative and stress free.
I very much recommend, especially for parents! Thank you!
I can't remember my doctors names, or my sales team but please share in a reply.
I've had the BEST experience! Not only was Ryan impressive, a student, and so thorough, so was Dr. Friedman. Unlike others, my visual experience although important to me, in hindsight, has no comparison to others who have afflictions and cannot see. But, that being said, they were so professional, kind, and helpful. As an aging dental hygienist, who still plans on providing quality care for my patients for another 10 years, they've helped me address my visual problem. And for that, they restored my ability to provide for myself and ultimately my family.
The two young ladies about to Graduate were great so was the Male Doctor over seeing them
Thean who helped me pick out my glasses was very nice.
I received glasses from them about a month ago. My naughty German Shepard got ahold of them. I took them back to the eye center, thinking I would need to order new frames. The lenses were fine. I was there about an hour while they worked on them. They basically built me a new pair of frames. They used parts from their lab. So grateful
This place billed me for an eye exam and frames that never happened. Called and explained and was hung up on. Called back and talked to a supervisor was told "she's new and didn't know what to do" then proceeds to tell me my eye exam was in September of 2021 (only been here once) and specifically asked and was told nothing else was on file because my insurance keeps saying it was November of 2022. I wasn't even in MI then. Said it wasn't them. My insurance (meridian who is a scam itself) insists on them billing so I call ferris again and politely ask to speak to a supervisor again. Puts me through to a line straight to an answering machine. I call back n tell her I clearly said I needed to speak w someone and I'd wait she raises her voice (because she's wrong n dumb ppl can't handle that) and starts telling me what I need to do like I'm in the wrong and hangs up. I'm not sure who to believe nobody can give a straight answer anymore everything's a scam everyone lies nobody can admit fault just gaslight you to make you believe you must be wrong. I actually thought after the first call that I must be misunderstanding it because they couldn't be this stupid. But they were. I was right all along and when they realize it the hang up.
I've never had such poor quality frames. I went through two frames in 6 months and yes I was careful with them. My first frame fell apart while I was walking through a store. After the second frame fell apart the same way I ended up having to get glasses made elsewhere. I've worn glasses for more than 40 years and have never had such a bad experience
Absolutely a scam. Came here to get a prescription specifically so I could order glasses online, was very up front about it, asked specifically for my PD to be included on my prescription for that purpose, paid the extra fee, and was stupid enough to trust them. Should've double checked my prescription before I left! They didn't include the PD, made no record of the measurement, and the manager called me a liar when I called to ask for it! Said I didn't pay for it when I know I did! Butof cpurse they didnt offer to show me the record and prove it. Very disappointed and will no longer be recommending them. Total scam and waste of time and money.
Edit: I found out that the last website I used to order glasses actually saved my prescription.... WITH THE PD ON IT! So to the office manager who accused me of lying, and said they never measured my PD, I can prove it. I'm happy to email the screenshot.
It has to be the best place to get your eyes checked! Everyone is so nice and fun to be with. They let you do a lot of fun things! One time I played wii with my eye doctor and a eye game on the computer with another! They are truly amazing. I am truly madly deeply in love with this place! (sorry had to quote 1D there) If I had to recommend any eye center I would recommend this one
