Dr. Poma is wonderful! My daughters, husband, and I see her. My oldest daughter did vision therapy and it made a world of a difference! I never would have guessed she could benefit from it because she does not need glasses. She worked with Lauren and the difference I saw in her attention span, mood regulation, reading, and balance was incredible. I ended up doing vision therapy also and I can focus so much better now. Both Lauren and Tara are wonderful and make it fun. I highly recommend Birmingham Vision Care and vision therapy.

Remarkable patient care, Nobel prize winning service and intelligence from all staff. I personally witnessed Dr. Isaac construct useable, prescription contact lenses, using nothing but a glue stick and a magnifying glass. Unbelievable

My family and I have been going to Birmingham Vision Care since it opened. The service and knowledge of the doctors and staff is exceptional. I would not trust my eye care to anyone else. When I needed support most, they were there to educate and offer solutions.

I've been coming to this office since around 2008, and I can honestly say Dr. Poma is the best. Before her, I had a pediatric eye doctor, but once I transitioned here, I knew I had found someone I could stay with for life. She has been with me for so many years now, through all the ups and downs of my vision journey. She's incredibly knowledgeable, but what really sets her apart is her compassion and the way she truly listens. She takes time to explain everything clearly, makes sure I feel comfortable, and never makes me feel rushed. Over the years, I've come to trust her completely -- she's guided me with care, patience, and consistency. It means so much to know that she remembers me, understands my history, and is invested in keeping my eyes healthy for the long run. The whole staff is wonderful too -- welcoming, efficient, and always kind. Every visit feels smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for a doctor who combines expertise with a caring heart, I can't recommend this office enough. I feel genuinely grateful to have been in her care all these years.

I don't have the words to express how amazing my last appointment was at the clinic. From my vision testing to my eye glass selection - I had an incredible optometrist and opticians. I can't imagine a better experience or a better clinic!! This is why my entire family are patients. Thank you!!!

Erika was so knowledgeable and kind through a variety of tests. Dr. Isaac is super professional, experienced, and well informed-she always spends as much time with me as I need and answers all of my questions. Rose helped me through the glasses selection. As usual, she helped me choose just the right pair of glasses, helped me navigate insurance, and fill out reimbursement paperwork. I saved money filling new script for existing sunglass frames and Rose applied a $50 discount. Still. Price is still quite high-my only Complaint-but when I switched providers several years ago to save money my prescription caused recurring headaches and I ended back at Birmingham Vision. My eyes are worth it.

Everyone at Birmingham Vision Care is outstanding. From the time you walk in you are greeted with a friendly welcome, to the great care of the staff and Doctors. Dr. Issac is so professional and thoughtful, as are the others!!

I would not recommend this business. I have had exams and purchased glasses from them. At my last exam, they violated the FTC Eyeglass Rule that requires optometrists to give patients an eyeglass prescription on the day of the exam and no additional service or money (other than the primary exam) can be required to get that prescription. That $200 extra for a vision therapy consult they demand before they would give me my prescription violates that rule. This review is 100% truthful and I have receipts.
