Elowsky Eyecare

The atmosphere was unpleasant, and I felt like I was a bother to them. I had my eye exam, but received little help picking out frames other than how much they cost. When the new glasses came in, I couldn't even see out of them. They made me feel like it was my fault. The glasses were sent back to be fixed. Weeks later, I picked them up, but they still weren't right. Again, I received no help adjusting the frames--just a vague "What do you think?" I decided to give them some time, thinking maybe I just needed to adjust, but they never got better. I took them back again and was told it had been too long since the original purchase, even though they were sent away for weeks the first time they didn't work. I would not recommend this place and will not be going back. I've been wearing glasses for more than 40 years. These were the most expensive--and the worst--I've ever had. I've gone back to my old, scratched glasses until I can afford to see a different eye doctor.

Absolutely wonderful, The staff was kind and extremely helpful in choosing a new pair of frames. Haven't been to the eye doc in 2 years due to petoskey's lack of care with customers all around. Calling to set up the appointment was quick and easy, Getting there and getting in was swift not much paperwork, and Dr. Elowsky did a wonderful job taking his time and examining my eyes. They do require a Down payment, but for the prices of glasses they sell at such top notch brands? You can get away with paying in full and not feel like you took a punch to the bank account. Very thorough in explaining everything too, nothing was left unsaid as far as billing and what kind/ when I would be getting the glasses. Highly recommend this place! Thank you, Elowsky eyecare! :)

Great eye doctor & staff. First time Visit from out of town. I was amazed with my service and all the help they gave me. I left feeling positive that my glasses are going to be great and I ll be able to see again like normal.

Dr. Elowsky saw me at the last minute for an emergent appointment while I was in from out of town. He, and the rest of his staff, were so helpful and kind. I especially appreciated his concern, the way he took my situation seriously, and offered insights into my condition that previous doctors hadn't. I only wish I lived in town so I could have him continue my care. Thank you!

I've trusted Dr Elowski with my eyes for nearly 7 years. This guy knows his stuff. Quick, easy, and thorough appointment. Always fun to chat with him. He's got good glasses too. Nice quality but he doesn't overcharge. Got kids - bring them in for their yearly check ups. He's great with kids. I would keep going here even if he didn't take my insurance.

Highly Recommend Elowsky Eyecare. Lost my glasses & I cannot drive without them. I stopped by Elowsky Eyecare last week & they were able to squeeze me in with an appointment & I walked out with a beautiful pair of glasses the same day! Amazing experience. We had an emergency need to get a pair of glasses made and shipped up to Mackinac Island. Called office and spoke to Tabitha who helped coordinate the entire process and was able to get the glasses ordered / made / shipped the same day.
