Dr. Kerney was extremely efficient and very thorough during my appointment. She went over my imaging and my results in detail. She directed me towards contacts that will work better for me and it's made a world of difference. I highly recommend becoming a patient here!

March 2026 (Update): When I booked this year's appointment, I made sure Dr Kerney was available, as she has provided me with excellent exams in the past. I had another excellent exam with Dr Kerney today, and she even uncovered an issue that requires a specialist to review. She promptly set me up woth a referral and I will pursue that appointment soon. Book with Dr Kerney...she is an outstanding optometrist. May 2025 (original review): I have been examined by Dr Kerney at my last two annual exams, and each was an excellent experience. In fact, these were both the best eye exams I've ever had. That's why I booked an appointment for today to see Dr Kerney. Unfortunately, they did not tell me that Dr Kerney was on maternity leave when I booked this appointment. I arrived a bit early for the appointment and got the preliminary scans out of the way. I was told that the substitute optometrist was running late because the current patient "spoke very little English." I didn't have an issue with that, but evidently the office staff did. When that patient left the exam room, a friend of the substitute doctor snuck in ahead of me and spent the next 10 minutes in a personal conversation with the doctor. Once I got into the exam room, "Dr Jeanne" performed the quickest eye exam I have ever had. If she spent 8 minutes with me, I would be surprised. It was so rushed that I figured Dr Jean was making up time from the other patient by shorting me. I have a couple of recommendations for the office: 1. If the doctor is not going to be there, tell me when I call for an appointment. There is a reason I chose to visit Dr Kerney. 2. If you are running late, there is no reason to blame it on the other patient. 3. Just because you are running behind, don't short change the next guy. I'm pretty sure I paid the same amount as the next person (probably more since I opted for the added scans). When my exam for next year comes due, I will double check that Dr Kerney will be there. She is worth the wait. She also seems to run a tighter ship, so these other shenanigans won't likely happen.
