SVS Vision Optical Centers

This place was recommended to me by a coworker a couple of years ago. After my first visit I recommended it to several coworkers, who came and enjoyed their experience as well. The information gathering the second time went much quicker because basically you just verify what you had filled our from your prior visit and make updates if need be. My first visit, everyone was kind and fun. I was so relieved that the air puff in the eye test had been given better technological equipment and this location was up to date with it. This visit, I experienced the machine that photographs the inside of your eye. It was easy. The experience was fine and my insurance covered the entire cost of that test. It was very interesting seeing those images. The Optometrist was super nice on both visits. They have a vast selection of frames. This visit I had photos of selections I had seen online of frames I liked, surprisingly they carried most of them. The hardest part was narrowing it down to one selection. Ha! Funny that I got the same person both times when it came to getting my frames and lenses ordered. She was very friendly both times. This facility is an excellent choice. Professional, fabulous experience, vast selection on frames. I highly recommend it!

The eye Dr herself was very nice and did a great job. How ever after sitting down with Nick the salesman everything went South. He was in a big hurry to get us out the door. Never gave us our contact prescription and gave us misinformed information on the prices on the contacts. Was suppose to help fit my glasses and never did.

Caution! The staff at SVS Gaylord are kind and competent. It's a chain and feels like it, but if all you want is a quick in and out and a pr of glasses it works. However, their spam calls ruined this place for me. They will NEVER stop calling you for "exam reminders". SVS bot "Amy" called me 3x in one day! I blocked them. I can't use an eye doctor who's number I have blocked. But they left me no choice and lost my business.

Brought frames in to have lenses put in. The lady didn't know what she was doing. Everytime she got a new amount without changing anything. My glasses are not right. I'm not impressed at all with them. To be determined if I return as a customer next yr or not

This is my new favorite eye care center! The staff was super friendly, the eye doctor herself was very kind and understanding of my concerns with contacts. I felt very well taken care of at this office.

Dr was great! Office staff however, was not impressed. Have been going to this office for years and when something didn't seem right with my insurance I brought it up to multiple different staff. Even showed them what my benefits showed and I was told I was wrong. I ended up calling SVS 1800 number and they did some digging turns out they weren't properly billing my insurance! What do you do to the older generation who might not have taken it this far!? I could see a simple mishap but I talked to multiple staff members and nobody seemed to care. I've also seen the head office person in another store wearing her name badge complaining that they wouldn't give her a pickup order because she left her id next door. Stores have a policy try being more professional if you're going to wear your name badge out.

They did an absolutely amazing job! Very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to get me an appointment right away, where most other places I called were about a month out for appointments. I was very satisfied with my visit to SVS!!

Had a GREAT experience at SVS. Everyone was very professional and helpful. My family and I were treated with respect. All of our questions were answered thoroughly Dr. Pearson is very very well educated and knowledgeable, she even discovered my father's glaucoma. Mitzie assisted my children with picking out glasses and ensured that we received the best deal. I would highly recommend this facility to others.
