The receptionists are friendly and helpful. We absolutely love the doctor. She's great! I do wish they had a larger selection of frames, but if we don't find what we want, it's very convenient for us to shop at the center in Holland and I can still do pick up in Hamilton.

Referred to Lakeshore Eyecare for their service and timeliness. Needed quality eye ware in a couple of weeks and was willing to pay the price. Eye exam was good. Receiving the eyeglasses as ordered is an awful experience! The tech didn't convey the correct information to the lab, which resulted in the SECOND Delay, (in which we are still waiting for). The first 4 week delay, we were told, was due to damaged frames received by the lab, and had to be returned, and replaced. No one from Lakeshore called to indicate a delay was going to happen. Found out, by calling Lakeshore in Hamilton. after the 2 week order time had passed that the lab was waiting for them to call back and wanted to know if they should reorder the frames because they had arrived damaged. It should be noted that damage resistant frames were ordered! A month after ordering the glasses they arrive without glare resistance. Back to Lakeshore went the glasses for this correction, in which the tech says the glare resistance wasn't requested. Yes it was, the tech didn't mark it down. SINCE THE GLASSES ARE FOR A PERSON THAT DOES MOSTLY NIGHT DRIVING, it is unlikely, (yes, there is a witness to the request for glare resistant lenses), that would not be a priority. Not one word of apology from Lakeshore for the delay, and out $650.00 for a pair of glasses I don't have.

Every year when we have our annual visits, I am reminded again how thankful I am that we found Dr. Jacquemin. She is so great with our kids! She's patient and fun and really connects with them, so they're always happy to go to the eye doctor.
