Dennis O'bryan, OD

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. O'Bryan. I called very late in the afternoon as a new patient from out of town for an appointment. I was given an appointment to come in within 30 minutes. I had a torn cornea which is extremely painful. Dr. O'Bryan treated it with antibiotics. The treatment plan consists of antibiotics for several hours followed by placing a contact lens over the cornea. Since it was so late in the day, I expected to come in the next morning for the contact lens, but Dr. O'Bryan said I would have a very painful night and that he wanted to see me back in the office at 8PM to place the contact lens. Once he placed the contact lens the pain was gone. My wife is a nurse and said she does not know of any physician that is so caring and compassionate that he would take time from his family and extend himself as he did. We are both grateful to Dr. O'Bryan.

Dr. O'bryan is a total professional - always takes time to do a thorough exam and follow-up testing. I had symptoms in my left eye I thought would clear up but didn't - I left an after hours message about my eye symptoms. He called back and left me a message the next morning, to call the office or his personal cell phone. We spoke and he came in on a Saturday, his day off, to examine my eye. Fortunately it was the best problem it could be; he referred me to a retinal specialist for a second opinion - the retinal specialists' prognosis was the same one Dr. O'bryan came up with.

Exam room was cluttered and a bit shabby. The chair seat was covered in bright green duct tape. After waiting just over 1/2 hour for the doctor, I decided to leave.
