I had an awesome 1st time experience at Bayview Optical on 7 Mile in Livonia. The appointment process was a breeze and they were able to accommodate my request for a quick turn-around to meet my annual exam prior to the end of the year. The staff was very welcoming, professional and very friendly! Dr. Blaize provided a very thorough eye exam, explaining the process every step of the way, and the service never felt rushed. They were very helpful when it came time to select my frames and ensured I liked the look and feel by providing a couple of other choices to try out. Quality frames, fast turnaround, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend Bayview Optical and will continue to go here each year!

Have been going to Bayview for 10 years and have enjoyed my experience every time. I always see better after the new lenses are installed in my frames. They have a good selection of frames. Have been able to get clipons to use in the car when the sun is out and bright. Everyone in the office is friendly and knowledgeable. I prefer Bayview over the chain.stores.

Dr. Blaize is an awesome eye doctor! He is friendly and personable but also very knowledgeable and professional. After every annual exam, I feel confident that my contacts are the perfect prescription and fit for me to see the absolute best possible. I switched to another doctor for one year out of convenience and regretted doing so because I could not see well at all. Dr. Blaize is awesome and I will never go anywhere else and I will recommend him again and again. His staff is amazing, too. In fact, one year my husband had a stye that got really bad on New Year's Eve and into New Year's Day. He called Bayview to leave a message, hoping to get a call back early on January 2, but Laurie answered his call on New Year's Day! She told him to come to the office to pick up a special compress, gave him instructions for use, and made sure she did all she could to help him out, and eventually the stye went away and he avoided a potential surgery. Bayview's a great place, and it's run by a group of kind, intelligent, and caring people!

Dr Blaze and his staff are amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable and help you with the whole process. Dr. Blaze takes his time with every appointment listens to all your concerns or changes you notice in your vision. His staff is kind and so accommodating with picking the right glasses to handling your insurance. Would highly recommend Bayview Optical.

I have been coming to Bayview Optical since I was seven years old. I've never found a reason to find a new optometrist; the entire staff is always welcoming and offers beverages while you wait. They are all very well informed to give you the best prices and options for contacts and prescriptions, while also providing great stylistic advice when you just need a second opinion on a set of glasses you're trying on. Dr. Blaize also works very efficiently so you are not there for your appointment for too long, but he still addresses all your needs just as well. I definitely would recommend Bayview Optical to anyone!
