The best place I've ever been to have my eyes looked over. Wow the staff here is amazing. The set up here is beyond words. You start with one person for one step, go to your next step, your test, next, your room, next see doctor, it's amazing how they set up their process. Each and every patient gets taken care of one step at a time, treated with kindness, patients and politeness. The doctor is great too. Never have I waited very long, I'm in and out done with all test rescheduled in under an hour, incredible! Highly recommend this place.
An extremely well-run and organized facility. Everything moved smoothly like a Swiss watch. The entire staff was extremely Pleasant friendly and professional towards me. It was my first time there and I got my exam and my surgery booked in just one day. I left with a packet that was very informative and put together quite nicely. The sheet describing the prescriptions and how to administer the dosage was a nice touch.
They truly seem to care about the health and well-being of the patient and with that in mind I highly recommend this facility
I am writing this review to express a serious concern regarding an interaction I had when I called your office recently. I spoke with a front desk staff member who I believe is named Nara. Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely unprofessional. She was rude, unhelpful, and spoke to me in a disrespectful and condescending tone, as if I were a child. This is not acceptable and made me feel dismissed and disrespected. I expect to be treated with courtesy and professionalism, especially in a medical setting. If staff are unhappy in their role, that should not be taken out on patients who are simply seeking assistance. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed through appropriate training or corrective action. Patients deserve respectful communication and a welcoming environment and this interaction was far from it.
First time here. Saw a Dr Kleinfeldt. He seemed to be in a rush, and saw me a few minutes, and said to come back in 3-4 months to make double check my cornea. No explanation on why they're thick. No explanation on why I have higher pressures in my eyes, I just do. ??? Oh ok. I'll be going to another doctor for a second opinion.
On a good note, my tech taking care of me was Matthew! He was outstanding and his customer service was AMAZING! Maybe he could rub off on the doctor b/c the doctor had ZERO bedside manners.
2nd visit for me and for husband 3, counting his surgery. This medical provider, in my opinion, is a rarity. Usually the Dr. is good & the staff is so-so or visa-versa. In this office, EVERONE, from the receptionist, all of the staff, including the ophthalmologist are GREAT!! Not only do they know their stuff, but are very personable and friendly. I have already referred a few friends and family members. The only thing I would like to see changed is if you want a copy of your prescription there is a $35.00 cost. I could see maybe a $5 charge for their trouble, cost of paper, and ink, but $35 seems exhorbent. I order my glasses on line so a prescription is required. The only negative and policy that I wish could be changed.
I've been coming here for years. And wow, have things changed, and not for the better sadly. At first, I really felt I was in good hands. Everyone was pleasant and showwd an interest in your care. The doctor actually spent a some time reviewing and discussing the reason you're there with you.
Fast forward several years and now you're just a number being rushed through the process so they can collect their money. I purposely have to pause the doctor to spend more than 60 seconds with me. The rest of the staff just seems miserable, just waiting for the clock to turn so they can get out of there as quickly as possible.
Have been coming here for regular check-ups without issue. Staff is friendly and organized. However, I went in for a new, concernning visual symptom and was basically ignored by Dr. Ellenberg. When he came in to see me after discussing my symptoms with the nurse and going through the imaging process, he didn't even know why I was there or what my new symptoms were (so he didn't read any of the notes), and when I told him I was there for something new he brushed it off and did not discuss anything with me. His rapport is terrible, he spends very little time with patients, and I do not trust what he had to say about my symptoms considering he ignored my new concerns and seemed like he couldn't be bothered. I will be seeking care elsewhere.
It's hard enough navigating the nightmare of a medical system we have in the US. It's even worse when you spend a ton of money on specialty care just to be ignored and brushed off by doctors.
Horrible experience dealing with the staff in this office. They have a "Karen" who clearly has a problem with African Americans. The office failed to notify us that our referral was not received by the primary care, even though we had proof that the primary care told us it was sent. I did what I was supposed to do. Got here and couldn't be seen. I spoke to the Office Manager who apologized and was trying to work it out for me since she agreed a call should have been maded stated I could be seen. even the front desk clerks 5 of them agreed miscommunication happened. So I had to agree to take responsibility for paying the bill if the referral wasnt approve, no problem every doctors office makes you sign that agreement any way. The Karen is apparently a Tech for the Dr. went over the office managers head to block the appointment by calling the regional manager. The Karen is the surgical technician for the Dr. Her job has Nothing to do with billing. She was standing there frowning at me and listening to me be upset that my time was waisted. She was mad because I was black and had the audacity to be upset that my time was waisted. My time off is limited of course I'm upset. People work hard and they dont have sick hours to waste. The tech was rude , unapologetic and her whole demeanor showed her dislike for me. So after I was told I would be seen she came out and said no the office manager was mistaken. The regional manager also refuse to talk to me about the issue because who know what the picture the Karen painted for her. Again, none of this was my fault. I relied on people to do their job and they didn't. If they didn't have what they needed 24 hours before the appointment I should have been called and rescheduled. they acknowledged they didn't do that and then had the nerve to be like oh well we can reschedule you. Next week. I'll bet money if you pull their records they have seen people and got referrals a day later. I'll bet money that this office disproportionately services less African Americans for care. If I could give negative stars I would. Bottom line dont deal with this location unless you like being inconvenience and treated like you dont matter.
