Told me that Crizal lenses are a good option and have a great warranty if anything happens to the lenses. Today, they tell me that my insurance doesn't cover the warranty, even though I paid out of pocket for these lenses. I should have been warned of this before my purchase last year. Now what? No scratch repair! No fix on the fog?

Riemer made my glasses wrong two times, it took three attempts to make them correctly. Each time I had to wait for a month for the corrected prescription. Then the glasses broke and I had to wait 8 weeks for a new pair.
In addition each time I went they were doing some kind of experimental screenings that were not covered by insurance (and I have very good insurance). They finally removed those charges from my bill after I complained. But how many people just pay what their insurance doesn't cover? Personally I think that's pretty unethical.
Each time I went back for the new glasses they kept repeating the same tests. They are very disorganized.
I changed providers to West Shore Eye Care. They specialize in dry eye and are experts in ocular rosecea, which is what I need.
I would avoid Riemer because of their mistakes in doing simple things like ordering glasses. And the unreimbursed tests.

Where do I start? Short version is 7 trips equalling 530 miles to get 2 pairs of glasses that were both so bad I couldn't use them. Finally ask for a refund and I get I still owe. The insurance paid them but they have a answer for everything except why I was double charged and over billed and still owe a balance. Not 1 apology not 1 time would they take responsibility for anything. It's the insurance it's my fault it's anything but there fault.
I wouldn't go there for any reason. I see 90% seniors when I go there. Just think of all the people they are taking advantage of. If they treat all them how they treated me it's shameful
To follow up I did receive a call to say they were sending a check and recommendations for a different provider. Will update when I receive them

They literally saved my life. After a standard exam, they noticed blood behind my eye. Shockingly it was caused by a blockage in my carotid artery. I was taken to Munson and had an endarectomy! Blockage was taken care of. I came home 2 days after the surgery, but suffered a stroke just a few days later. It could have been so much worse. That happened 2 years ago and I've been in a nursing home in Hell, Michigan, unable to walk, but I could have died.

Contrary to what I read in another review, I have complete confidence in Dr Reimer and have always felt he is thorough in explaining procedures both before and after. I would definitely recommend the office to anyone, especially anyone anticipating cataract surgery.

Laat week my family was camping across the state in Ludington. My sister unintentionally broke her glasses. Our first place to go was walmart, to see if they could repair her glasses. While they were kind, they couldnt assist us and recommended 2 other places in Ludington that may be able to help. One was Riemer Eye Care. They were kind from the moment i called them. They told us to come on in and they'd see what they could do. It took them an hour, but they repaired the glasses really well, going so far as to remove an arm from an older pair of glasses. We are very please with Riemer Eye Care. Thank you!
