I am from our of town and here on business. I made the unfortunate mistake of sitting on my glasses, bending the frames and popping a lens out. Downtown Eyecare saw me immediately, and for my glasses squared away in less than 30 minutes- despite a unique and challenging frame design. They didn't even charge me a service fee! Pleasant and helpful staff, definitely consider them for optical needs!

Fantastic service. I had not had an eye exam in many years, and felt the staff passed on a great amount of knowledge. Both the doctor and staff were patient with my many questions and made me feel at ease for something that was long overdue. Grateful for their time and not rushing me through the process. I will be returning a happy customer.

I was on vacation, only just being there one day, and my right side contact ripped in half. I was completely out of options, being eight hours from home without a contact in my right eye for the better part of the whole day. I called downtown eyecare among a scramble of calling many other places and they were the only one with the contact in stock. They reserved the contact for me, kept it in store for me, and allowed me to pick it up the same day. I am incredibly grateful for them, and incredibly impressed by their customer service and willingness to help out people, and their customers. I have never met these individuals before until my first run in with them on vacation in a crisis, and they helped resolve that crisis, so I have nothing but amazing words to say about them. I would recommend them to anybody that's in the area long-term or just visiting as they are some of the kindest, and most helpful people in the eye care community.

Dr Ludlow was very thorough and took his time with me to make sure I understood everything about the changes in my vision. He is very personable and extends a comforting chair-side manner throughout the eye exam that puts you at ease. The office has state of the art equipment (in my opinion) that took pictures of my eyes that I have never had done anywhere else! The office staff is very knowledgeable and helpful as well. The girls made sure I had picked out the best frame for me! Everyone is so friendly & kind!

We are on vacation in Marquette (8 hours from home) and my brother's right eye contact tore in half. Unfortunately we had been traveling for an extended period and did not readily have a spare. We called 25+ places throughout Marquette with no availability or service. Of all the places we called, this was the first that took our situation seriously and did everything they could to help. We were able to get a contact same day which was extremely rare for the prescription my brother has. Absolutely nothing but good words to say about Downtown Eyecare.
