They think only their time is important. I thought my appointment was at 1:30 so I showed up at 1:34 and they told me they would have to reschedule me because they have a 10 minute policy informing me, my appointment was at 1:20. I even called yesterday to confirm my appointment and I said, "Do I still have an appointment tomorrow? I think it is at 1:30". The gentleman on the phone never corrected me. I've been waiting for this appointment for over a month. I work a lot. Out of contacts. They didn't care. What kind of business doesn't tell you about their policy of 10 minutes and it was an honest mistake on my part thinking that my appointment was at 1:30. 1:20 is not a normal appointment time. Very dumb policy especially when they don't inform their customers about it.

I was there yesterday. I drove from Jackson because they accepted my insurance and could get me an appointment within days, rather than months. Staff was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I'm not a customer at this location, but I had an eyeglass emergency & stopped in. Randy asked no questions and replaced the nose pads on my glasses! I was ready to pay, but he stated it was a common courtesy at their business! That certainly was a blessing! I really appreciated the kindness of everyone in there. I was not waiting very long, but they still were concerned about addressing my needs. . I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs excellent eye care in the Mason area!

Th office staff are very courteous and the doctor is professional and knowledgeable. I especially want to give a shout out to Jamie who helped me choose my glasses and also to understand the insurance process. She was patient and kind as well as knowledgeable. She rocks! It's staff like her that keep me returning.

The staff at MyEyeDr are amazing. Dr Swartz was great, she answered all my questions. Also she was quick and efficient. Everyone is helpful and you can ask questions at any time. The receptionist starts your visit with a smile and helpful attitude. I am so glad I found MyEyeDr. I will continue to go to them. They truly care about their patients.

My appointment for an annual exam was a month ago. I ordered glasses, the script was way too strong so I returned them. Three weeks later and several calls, they finally arrived today and are not the frame I selected or paid for. It's been a nightmare and I will be switching to a different eye doctor elsewhere. Not to mention the visit and frames cost over $800. That's robbery! I'm not about to return them again even though the frames are incorrect. I'd love a refund for their mistakes and amount of time it took.

This office is very kind and thorough. I felt like everyone from the desk to the doctor were welcoming and helpful. When we asked questions about something that is new in the state, the doctor was willing to research it and attempt to get certified to help us. Jamie, who helped iron out all insurance and ordering issues, got us the best deal possible and everything we needed. She was efficient, friendly, and left no stone unturned.

I never thought I would have to give this office a bad review. Let me be clear the doctors are great, but they are now not only under staffed but over priced! I called this office on Monday wanting to know why I was being charged 145.00 for a contact fitting which drained my insurance benefits so much that they would only received 6.75 towards my contacts. I spoke with my insurance company and they advised that it was due to them charging me for a contact lens fitting. Don't get me wrong a contact lens fitting is normal when your prescription changes and they need to know if that prescription or brand works for you, but in my case I have the same brand and same prescription so what are you fitting me for? My eye size hasn't changed and heck I never even got the sample pair they promised because they didn't have any in stock and the pair the tech claims she ordered never came in the mail like my contact lenses did that I was told would be picked up in the office and not mailed to me! After speaking with my insurance company, I called the office and was told I would need to speak with the office manager and that she would contact me.. that was Monday and now it's Wednesday. I'm sorry your short staff, but a customer waiting 2 days for a return call and having to do follow up is not acceptable! When this place was called, Professional Eye Care I was only charged $30.00 for a contact lens fitting! My family and I have been patients at this office for about 15 years, but what's the benefit of continuing to go to this commercialized money grab if I'm going to end up paying out of pocket for contacts and not receive return calls in a reasonable time when there's a problem.! Again both doctors are great, but trying to operate an office with (3) support staff members, customers having to wait 10 -15 mins to get checked in because the only person at the desk is on the phone with another patient talking about how 40 is the magical age when people start losing their sight, but when you call with a legit question regarding billing you get rushed off the phone by this same staff member who says they have staffing issues it's a problem. Please keep all these things in mind if you decide to become a patient here! I have two eye insurances and I'm jumping ship! Update as of 4/28/24... I returned the call to both the person responding to my review and spoke with the manager Erica who said she would call me back in a few days after she spoke with another manager to determine how they could issue me a refund and that was a month ago! No return call from either... Talk about customer service! I guess my review impacted doing right by their customer! If you really want the real reviews on this company go to the BBB site, type in their business name and you'll see how their customers really feel about them. If they're too busy to process my refund keep this in mind before doing business with them. When they were Professional Eye Care they had my respect but now that they're commercialized buyer beware! This place as never been understaffed and now they are.. speaks volumes!
