SVS Vision Optical Centers

As long as everything follows the usual process, there doesn't seem to be an issue. However, if anything falls outside the norm, it appears to throw the staff off and they're unable or unwilling to accommodate you the same day. I was told the doctor has a very tight schedule and leaves right at 6:00, so there is "no flexibility" because they are very busy, and that fitting me in would mean "bumping" someone else out of their spot. We even offered to wait as long as it took to be seen, but were told the doctor would question why a patient was scheduled at the end of her workday when she needs to "go home." On top of that, they didn't even check my eye measurements until we insisted multiple times. After spending nearly $600 and being a patient here for years, you would hope there would be a little more compassion and willingness to help. Situations like this are how practices lose long-time patients when you're treated as an inconvenience and lack supportive patient care. Unfortunately, I'll be struggling to see up close for the next five days. I'm very disappointed in how I was treated and expect better.

April at the Northville store was amazing! No pressure buying, picked out some glasses for me, beyond informative. I was at ease, left feeling great with my purchase. I definitely recommend this place. I can't wait to get my new glasses.

I came to the doctor for an issue with my eyes and they refuse to let me take my appointment or see the doctor .. why? Coz I have an eye exam with glasses this year .. I kept telling her I have a problem with my vision not my glasses and I need the doctor but after they kept me 15 minutes they refused !!! Greedy , dumb looking for $$$ only

They are some of the kindest people here I have ever met. All the staff was kind accommodating with my husbands physical limitations and helpful. The Doctor was so understanding and patient and explained everything she was looking at and for. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Everyone here was wonderufl and kind. Picking out glasses is nerve wrecking for me so they were honest what looked nice on me and what didn't. They made my experience easy and I am really happy with the exam and new (and first) pair of glasses. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My visit to SVS in Northville was exceptional. It started with my call to make an appointment where I was greeted pleasantly and all questions were answered. Upon arrival for my appointment I was also immediately acknowledged and the process explained. The physician was top notch. Very thorough, professional and easy to converse with. And the final step - picking out the frames was made easy by the expert who guided me through the process. Would definitely recommend this office.

I've been to many SVS locations , this one by far is my fav! My exam was a little different which I liked. I feel like the Dr. took more time asking me questions and testing my vision than others. The girls upfront were polite and welcoming. I wish I knew the girl's name that helped me but she was super nice! (long dark hair) She created a tray for me based on the style i was looking for then let me browse around. I really appreciated that! I found the perfect pair of clear frames and also got my older glassed fixed. Will definitely return!

Doctor was very thorough & kind. The gals out front were great. I received excellent assistance in picking out my new frames! I truly appreciate awesome customer service! Shout out to April, for her superior customer service!
