Okemos Optometry

I took my daughter here for her first eye exam. They were adaptive with her needs as a patient. She was treated courteously, and they did an outstanding job keeping her engaged and on task(Not easily done). When the exam finished I asked her what her favorite part of the experience was, she told me,"The nice doctor".

Dr. Silverman is very knowledgeable and thorough. He also takes the time to answer my questions. The office staff are kind and helpful.

I don't speak English well, but they were very patient and spoke slowly so I could understand everything. The eye exam was extremely thorough, and I felt well taken care of.

Friendly staff and I got my eye exam done in less than 45 minutes. Dr. Hood was great and very friendly. Will be going back

Worst service in Lansing area.The contacts provided did not work and they cannot schedule a followup soon Edit: After some followups they scheduled a followup only later to call back and cancel the visit because i gave a bad review.

I have dry eye issues due to an autoimmune disease and have dealt with issues for about 10 years. I have been to 3 different optometrist offices in that time and Dr. Silverman was the first one to ever really explain it to me and help come up with a good plan. Dr. Silverman and all the staff were incredibly nice and really took their time with me. The office was also nice, clean, and had up to date technology to treat eye conditions. I am thrilled this office is so close to home.

Being a health care professional, I'm kinda fussy about my care. Dr.Silverman and Dr. Camburn check all the boxes... professional, very knowledgeable with teaching /explaining things. They are kind, gentle and fun! The staff is kind very courteous! And you can honestly talk to them about other places that sell glasses etc. I did but you can't beat their quality! This practice is an asset to the community.Thank you for all you do!

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! This optometrist office adds a $60 "contact fitting exam fee" IN ADDITION to your co-pay from insurance. My wife called the office to discuss this charge - the office member by the name of MICHAEL hung up on my wife SEVERAL times after her calling back trying to get an understanding why we were billed twice for an exam - they billed our insurance, took their money, took our co-pay AND charged us $60 on top of that for an "exam fitting fee" she didn't get fitted for contacts. The office person MICHAEL laughed at my wife on the phone after she told him she contacted our insurance for confirmation and told her to call them again. THIS PLACE IS SCAMMING CONSUMERS. MICHAEL also tried telling my wife his name is Bob to avoid any feedback. Disrespectful and dishonest people here. Never returning.
