I have been extremely happy with my visits with Dr. Obertynski. I find him to be a compassionate person who is very knowledgeable about glaucoma and cataracts. I had 2 operations last year and am very happy with the outcome.i look forward to working with him for many years to come. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Michigan Glaucoma for over 10 years. Obviously I think that it is the best place to go since I have trusted the doctors with my eye care for so many years. All the doctors are experts and my vision is their utmost concern. The staff is caring, efficient, and personable. The newer office is a 45 minute drive for me however an easy drive since it is close to I-696 and I-75, and a few blocks from Woodward Avenue.

I have been seeing Dr. Walters for 6 years concerning my glaucoma. He is always proactive in his approach in order to keep things under control. The best example of his proactiveness came a few months ago when he saw something suspicious on one of the tests he regularly runs on me. He made sure to order 2 MRIs in order to get a resolution to the suspicion. As it turned out, there was a small benign growth behind my left eye that needed to be removed by a neurosurgeon. He recommended one of the best neurosurgeons in the Detroit area to do the surgery. Not only was the removal of the growth successful, but I have improved vision in my left eye and the surgeon said I could see improved vision up to one year. So I'm very grateful to Dr. Walters for his proactiveness and my improved vision. And I can't end this review without saying how professional and caring the technical and office staff are at this facility.

The staff members and Dr. Obertinski do an outstanding job addressing their patients. Time is devoted to you in answering questions or your concerns. I feel so fortunate to have found this medical practice and would whole heartedly recommend them to everyone.

Had my usual month checkup with Dr. O and staff. All was done pleasantly, professionally and promptly. I was prescribed a new eyedrop med and when my insurance company balked on covering the expense the staff dealt directly with my pharmacy and insurance co. to straighten everything out. Very satisfied with my experiences at Mich. Glauc & Cat..... Have been for 30+ years.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr O for over 8 years.We both have had cataract surgery and are seen regularly to keep our glaucoma under control.. The new location is full of the latest technology equipment. Shout out to Wendy, she's the best !! The staff is super nice... Jerry & Cathy Mc

First time visit to Dr. Obertynski to establish a base line and identify any eye issues. My condition was well explained. The doctor and staff couldn't have been nicer or more professional. It was an all around great experience!

We absolutely love Dr Walters, he has taken great care of my mother!! My only gripe is the entry way into this establishment. I sat in the waiting area today and watched so many elderly struggle getting through the doors, and almost tripping on rugs. How about a handicap automatic button for the doors since a huge population of patients that frequent here are in wheelchairs or have walkers? Also, how about a ramp straight ahead when u walk in rather then forcing them on the uphill ramp that is difficult to do when you have a rolling walker and poor eyesight to begin with? Please put yourself in their shoes and make things easier for the elders to navigate
