America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I've never been to this eye clinic before and based on my experience trying to help our neighbor, I never will. We have an 82 year old neighbor who has lived here for over 50 years. He's originally from the Philippines, has no family nearby, and has been hospitalized for over a month, and now has COVID. While in the care facility, he lost his eyeglasses and asked us to pick up a simple replacement pair from CVS. Since he's bedridden and struggling to breathe, my husband and I have been visiting him and helping however we can. We called this eye place hoping they could tell us what strength lenses he normally uses and they wouldn't even give us basic information about what he'd need to buy from a regular store. They insisted that he--a very weak man with limited English--would have to call them himself. I understand policies and the need for routine patients to keep up with appointments but, a little compassion goes a long way. We'll just go to CVS, buy several pairs, and bring them to him to see what works.

I've worked in sales and customer service for 10 years, and these are the best eye appointment have had since my family doctor when I was a child. I live in Ypsilanti now and drive and hr to this location just for my appointments. From the moment I was greeted at the door by Kameisha, extremely professional, promptly had my paperwork and file. Willa was comforting. I struggle anxiety and with appointments and paperwork, she calmed me and I ended up doing more check for my eyes (which turns out I needed). Tanya Eva and Aja's bright energy helped me pick out my glasses (I literally chose between 10 pair.) Im sure I was a bit much today ladies, but i want without pressure, you all made my day easy and amazing. This will be my main eye doctor. Dr. Delly even remembered the last time she saw me. In a city like pontiac, WE NEED MORE BUSINESSES AND PEOPLE LIKE THE LADIES AT AMERICAS BEST. I'll be back in 2 weeks to get my church lady glasses.

Came out to the Pontiac location after reading their reviews because my experience at another location wasn't great. No one assisted me with selecting frames that fit my face and the service as a whole was unpleasant for my first time needing glasses. When I walked into Pontiac Daisy and Aja tended to me immediately helping me select a frame that I love and fit. I'm excited to receive my new eyewear and glad I trusted the reviews and came to this location!!! Thank you ladies for fixing my issue and being so welcoming and positive.

Called this morning to order Contacts. I was told I needed to come in to utilize my insurance benefit for contacts. I went in and then was told that my insurance is out of network (when I just had an exam 3 months ago) and that I couldn't use the full benefit that I have available. No problem being out of network, but I should have been told that prior to driving there and wasting my time. Although I was there and have an active prescription from 08/29, there was no record of my ID or insurance card. I'm confused as to where that information goes when it is scanned in during the eye exam.

Kamisha, and I apologize if I didn't get her name right and the manager, were very helpful and very nice. Really great place to go for contacts and glasses. Definitely recommend.

My father got glasses here not too long ago. The lady that helped him appeared to be high and was extremely rude. She had on glasses and has two tone hair. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Amazing experience I highly recommend! They got me in on a Saturday Same-day appointment I walked out with sample contacts and order me a year supply prices are amazing

My experience was helpful and great! Willa helped with my contacts I've worn them for 30yrs and this was the first time I learned how. All the ladies on staff were great.
