My 4 yr old and I had our first appointment here and everyone in the clinic was amazing! We saw Dr. Walia, and I highly reccomend booking appointment with her. She is great with kids, does a thorough job with eye exam and giving feedback.

This establishment is currently having an issue with their payment processor. They are getting bombarded with upset patients because they are being told they have a balance. I have personally contacted the payment company. I was on hold for half of an hour before somebody answered. With this phone conversation I was able to get verification that I do not owe a balance. However, they still send me incessant emails stating that I owe them money. Clarkson needs to address this issue. If you speak to the staff at Clarkson, they refer you back to this company and state the don't have the Information in their system. Since the issue can't seem to be resolved, I will be taking myself and my family's business elsewhere.

Dr. Walia is an exceptional optometrist with outstanding bedside manner and genuine patience. Every step of my parent's eye exam was explained clearly, and questions were answered without any rush, which made the visit comfortable and reassuring. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring, attentive eye doctor.

Poor service. Male doctor talked to me like I was a child. They told me my contacts were no longer made or covered by my insurance. Continued getting bills 6 months after appt for services I never had done and purchases I never made. Went somewhere else. Got a great eye exam, insurance covered all of my exam and contacts, and prescribed me my original brand of contacts. Very shady business model and disrespectful staff. Would not recommend

Profits over patients here. My son was given a "contact exam" where he put his prescription contacts in for 1 minute and the optometrist reviewed their fitment. The office charged us a non-covered $130 fee on top of the normal eye exam and did not disclose this to us before performing the check. The office refused to rescind the fee. We will find a new optometrist.

Dr. Walia is on time and provided good care and education as to my condition. She made the necessary phone calls right away to get the drops I needed approved by insurance so that I was able to pick up the RX and start the treatment within 2 hours. I Highly recommend her.

Go somewhere else!! I have the Cadillac of insurance. I bought LENSES for existing frames I had. I paid over $500 out of pocket after insurance! First of all, think about THAT. They could not even show me the price minus insurance = what they asked me to pay. I should have walked away then. Months after I pick up my lenses I start receiving random texts with a link to pay my balance of $373. What?! Who would click that?? I have a receipt that says paid in full. Then I start receiving bills so I call. They say they will investigate - it will take 2 weeks. They did not reach back out with an explanation but 3 weeks later I got another bill. The math on their bill does not match the receipt I have and doesn't even calculate correctly. So I go to the office and speak with the business manager who tells me it was double billed - an error. She said she'd take care of it. Nope. No call. Just more bills. Oh and after 4 months one of the lenses fell out of the frame! Completely unusable because I lost a teeny tiny piece that fell to the ground. Ha ha. PERFECT. No more Clarkson for me!

I've been to this office before and not had issues. This past appointment was a very poor experience. The doctor was fairly rude and was rushing. I'm not confident that I even got my accurate prescription. He was moving so quickly through the exam that it was hard for me to tell what looked clearer with each lens change. I was pushed to try a new brand of contact, even though I liked my old ones. I told the doctor that the new contacts didn't fit well when I put them in and I was told, "You need to try them for more than 10 seconds. Wear them for two weeks and see how it goes." I couldn't even blink without moving the contact around in my eye and I had a massive headache by the time I got home. I've worn contacts for years and know when they don't fit, but I was not listened to. He did give me the prescription for my old lenses as well, just in case "I really hated these", but like I said, I'm not even sure the prescription is correct. The doctor also made comments about underwear that I felt were inappropriate during the exam. He was trying to make a point about changing your contacts on time, I get that but it was still very uncomfortable. That being said, the women who worked out front were lovely and kind. I only had issues with my doctor.
