We drove over 2.5 hours to have our dog, Sammy, evaluated based on the online reviews even though there were other dog ophthalmologists much closer to us and I'm so glad we did. We were lucky enough to get in for an emergency visit for what my vet said was one issue, but was actually something completely different. Every single person we came into contact with whether it was on the phone or in person was smiling and happy to help. Dr Ramsey was extremely kind and helpful as well. He broke it all down so everything made sense. He even gave her a good neck scratching when he took her cone off. You can tell he loves his job and values his staff. And I love the website with all the expectations of the "patient" laid out. Thank you!

I am so thankful to the staff at The Animal Ophthalmology Center for treating my girl Reba with such respect and for giving her the best possible care! I agree with some of the other reviews that they are pricey, but I believe they are worth the price. She was in good spirits when I picked her up after her procedure and she loved all of the treats she received. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ramsey and his staff.

Literally drove 2 hours away from home because of how professional and friendly this place is, My 5yo baby had a supposed post-traumatic tumor in his eye & needed the whole eye enucleated or it could spread to the brain. Thankfully he's already been blind in this eye from the initial trauma so won't have any vision loss! Dr. Ramsey saw how painfully rare this looked and took over 1000$ off of my total estimate for the enucleation surgery and meds, The stitching came out shockingly amazing and healed quickly! The whole staff is very friendly & Tina at the front is nice to talk to! Highly recommend love this place

Dr. Ramsey and the entire staff are amazing. Our dog had cataract surgery and one eye and prosthetic in the other. The Evaluation diagnostics, diagnoses and treatment plan were thorough And made us feel very confident in our decision to move forward with surgery for our dog. Having our beloved, Bella go from almost completely blind to a confident young pup again has been an amazing experience and well worth it. Their aftercare and sincere dedication to our pet's Well-being has been excellent. We can't thank you enough Animal Ophthalmology Center!

They took the time to thoroughly explain Blu's condition, the surgical options, and what we could expect every step of the way. Never once did we feel rushed or that our questions were unimportant. One of my Brussels Griffons had cataract surgery yesterday and a follow up today. The staff is incredibly helpful, kind, gives clear directions regarding all aftercare. Dr Ramsey has cared for all of my Griffs, as they have bulging eyes and short, almost non existent noses. Owners receive a written report covering the appointment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow up care. I love this practice and feel fortunate to be in their "patient" list. Thankful for Dr.Ramsey and his wonderful team! My 9 year old Austrian Shepherd had both cataracts done and he can see perfect now! Everything from the 1st appointment to surgery has been a great experience here! Thank you guys for changing my dog's life to see the world again!

Dr Ramsey and his team are so incredibly knowledgeable, kind, professional and caring. They have provided exceptional care for my dogs, most recently, my 14-year-old golden retriever Sally with an indolent corneal ulcer. I can't recommend them enough!!
