Only reason I'm giving a 3 star is because I'm sad Brittany Boettcher is not a Dr there anymore. I used to see her out in Winnebago and once in Blue Earth before she left. She was very good and extremely knowledgeable with my eye condition that I have. Now this place has virtual eye exam. Not sure how they can determine someone's special eye condition. So I had to go elsewhere to find a doctor that does good old fashion traditional eye exam. If Brittany is till pursuing her practice else where I'd go see her again. She was excellent
I love Blue Earth Valley Eye Clinic. I have been going there for years. The service is fantastic and the staff is always friendly. I just updated my prescription the first of January using the virtual doctor and it went well. The only difference was the doctor was not standing next to me, they were on the computer screen running the device. It was a great experience so thank you ladies at Blue Earth Valley Eye Clinc.
We have been going to BE Valley Eye Clinic for a number of years! We love the staff and doctors! Dr. Johnson and staff are so patient and friendly. My daughter tried contacts a couple years ago and it was just too soon. We tried again yesterday and it was a success! The staff was amazing, encouraging and shared in my child's excitement and pride! You don't find that kind of "family" everywhere.
I do tell people about the eye clinic. Although rather than use the name Blue Earth Valley Eye Clinic, I will say, "Dr. Fox"( I still say Boetcher half the time and then correct myself) or "Dr. Johnson". The Doctors and all the staff are our people. They are friendly, helpful, and good to explain things. I am thankful for the whole crew.
Outstanding service and client care. Dr. Johnson is the best and explained step by step my examine and it's purpose and results. The staff is absolutely awesome, extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. The eyewear selection is great and reasonably priced and the lady who handled my eyewear needs explained the advantages of each type of lens and frames. Thanks much Blue Earth Valley Eye Clinic Ltd, you have a new follower.
Love having a great local eye doctor in town! It was so nice being able to do my pre and post exams after laser eye surgery . Dr Britany Boucher is so great with my small kids. And Dr Johnson is my husbands favorite! Me personally I love the staff! They are always very friendly especially Vicky! Keep up the good work!
1st off ,Dr boetcher is amazing! Hands Down the best eye Dr I've ever seen.
Unfortunately her support staff is hurting her business ( I'm assuming I'm not the only person who has run across the unprofessional behavior of her support staff).
My eye glasses are covered by insurance & the lens keep popping out ( not uncommon for many eye glasses), because it's nearly 20 miles each way to eye clinic, if I can get them back in correctly by myself, I pop them back in.
One of the times they popped out a len got a scratch nearly 1 inch long.
The support staff claimed they submitted for replacement to my insurance company for replacement & it was declined. This was in July.
Today I called my insurance provider & was told that in order to get a replacement due to damage, I'd need to give a written statement to clinic as to what happened & theyd submit it for replacement coverage.
Turns out support staff never turned in a claim according to my insurance company.
Which I believe is true because they never asked for me to put in writing what happened to damage my lens.
So the support staff is not fallowing proper insurance procedures.
The support staff has also verbally accused me of damaging the framework's paint through my paper mache crafts. ( 1st off I hadn't built a paper mache crafts since February & I used brushed on watered down white glue/pva glue, , which is water soluble & brown craft paper to make my base & paint it with latex paint, also water soluble & neither can permeate glass lens or metal frame, so can't do damage to my eye wear. And than there's the fact that I don't stick my face into project, I literally need my eye glasses on my face to see what I'm doing with my hands.
The Dr is out on maternity leave, so I asked to speak with the replacement, who is in office today & the support staff wouldn't connect me to that Dr., They claimed they could help me, unless they have a Dr's license, they can't order anything.
Is the support staff committing fraud?
At they very least they are obstructing medical or denying care.
Because they refussed to connect me with the Dr that is taking over my care while my regular Dr is on maternity leave.
I called today and asked to speak with Dr who handling her cases.
I got a call back from staff, claiming that Dr wasn't going to respond because I hadn't been seen by this Dr. Before. & The staff asked what I needed to talk to Dr about , impling they could act on licenced behalf.
So that staffer was trying to either act on Drs behalf or not forward my call to licensed Dr.,
Your sure welcome to actually have the licenced Dr call me, the staff knows I called.
& I called back a 2nd & 3rd time to try to get through to a Dr.
& I got voicemail both times & no response back yet.
The problems not with Dr care, it's actually getting past support employees who don't know how to do their job in a professional manner & knows how to properly fallow the insurance company policies & procedures.
I love my eye clinic.. even though they consistently tell me my eyes are getting worse and worse.. they are always so friendly and polite while also being professional. They really know their jobs and do them well.
