I rarely leave reviews! But this visit for my 14-year-old daughter was an amazing experience. I am so impressed and blown away by the customer service we received at Shopko Optical in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. They brought us back as soon as we walked in! No waiting. We had a digital appointment. Andy ran all the required tests, and let me tell you, that girl is an asset to this company. She is extremely intelligent and was patient with my daughter. They didn't have to dilate the eyes with eye drops here, which is a huge added bonus! Instead of scheduling an appointment for our sit-down session in the future, they made it work so we could sit down and do it after her appointment. When my daughter got nervous during her sit-down session, Brenda came back and showed her ways that she does her contacts! Everything was explained thoroughly and ran so smoothly I was beyond impressed. We went to Bonner before this, and I will never go back there again. They are overpriced with a wait time of two hours. I hope the owner gives a pat on the back to his crew because they are beyond great! We will be forever customers now! Thanks, guys!!

Low quality glasses. Staff is unfriendly. We have been in a few times to look/shop/purchase glasses and staff is never welcoming. They all sit behind computers and barely look up to acknowledge people as they enter. If you want service, you approach them.Then when glasses broke (from normal use, about 7-8 months old just taking them off the side piece snapped) all we got was "Nope. Sorry there's nothing we can do" no here's our current offers or anything, to keep us as a customer or get us into a replacement....happily take our business elsewhere

Excellent service!! I broke my frames called them, they fixed them the same day!!! I have worn glasses for 30 years broken multiple pair never received service like I did from the amazing ladies here!!

Someone billed my insurance as being out of network and now im unable to even get my contacts paid for my insurance. They claim its not their problem and have refused to help me fix it and also demands payment for "out of network insurance costs" when they in fact were in network. Im out hundreds of dollars and close to 30 hours of my time trying to get this fixed. Not happy.

Worst place ive ever gone for getting my prescription glasses. Not only was the eye doctor rude and said "for 27 ive never seen worse vision" regarding that i couldn't see like half a foot in front of my face and then it took them a months and a half to get my my glasses. That weren't even the right prescription. I had to call 3 times before they told me they recived them from the manufacturer with flaws and then another 3 weeks of me calling to see if they had even arrived. Once they did arrive they gave me my glasses and refused to adjust them to my face. WILL NEVER GO BACK. Good luck if you go here. Hope I was the only 1.

The staff and Dr were very nice and helpful. I'm very pleased with my glasses. I will definitely be doing all my optical needs there.
