Had PRK done Dr. Weis did an amazing job. One of the best physicians I have ever had. I had terrible eyesight, I had to feel around for my glasses then I had PRK, crystal clear vision I was shocked.

We have depended on Dr. Weis and his staff for friendly, thorough eye care for over 20 years, including Lasik and glaucoma care. Top notch expertise and service!

I give the Weis Eye Center my highest recommendation. Dr. Weis is an incredibly talented, thoughtful, and respectful surgeon. Everytime I went in, from the initial consultion, pre op, op day, and post op check ups, I received great care. Such careful attention was paid to my anxiety about the surgery, prescription and astigmatism, and post op symptoms. I was very nervous going in the first time (and also on op day), but the entire staff is so friendly and relaxing. Overall my LASIK experience at this office was a breeze. LASIK was a much bigger lifestyle change than I expected and I have zero symptoms. It's like I never wore glasses. If you want LASIK up north, this is the place to do it.

Got LASIK here and it was the best decision ever! I wore glasses for over a decade and as a young adult, being able to see (20/20) without them is incredible. The process was great, I felt reassured by Weis and staff, all of my many questions were answered in depth, and the surgery had no complications. After nearly two years of living with the benefits of LASIK, I could not recommend it more, especially to young people.

So, for context I am 53 and am -7.75 in both eyes. I have been wearing thick eyeglasses since I was a child. Over the last few decades, I spent thousands of dollars on eye exams, eyeglasses, and prescription sunglasses. I can't even remember how many times I lost pricey prescription sunglasses in the ocean. I was hesitant to go with Lasik given my age and strong prescription. I went to Weis Eye Center earlier this year for the free consultation and felt extremely comfortable because of their no pressure attitude and state-of-the art facility. Dr. Weis and his team were very knowledgeable and kind. He opted for a PRK surgery as my cornea was too thin for Lasik. They say, "you regret the things you don't do". I regret not doing this sooner. I spent the summer splashing in the ocean and lollygagging at Florida beaches. Nothing beats the feeling of walking into a gas station and grabbing a cheap pair of sunglasses, knowing you won't feel bad if you lose them in the ocean!

Recently a black fly decided to collide with my eye. Following two hours in the ER in Grand Marais to be looked at for flashes and floaters, I was sent to Weis Eye Center in Duluth the following morning for a follow up appointment. I have to say that from the moment I walked in and was greeted by Mrs. Weis (sorry to not know her first name) at the receiving desk, and the clinician who checked my eyes initially, and then meeting Dr. Jeffrey Weis himself ~ I was taken care of in a professional, competent, and compassionate way from start to finish! Everything about this appointment was top shelf terrific! We all are in a stress mode with injury or physical needs. Though I believed that I would be fine eventually, following my excellent North Shore Health experience the night before with Dr. Taleb and Nurse Moree, it was incredibly reassuring to have the diagnosis of "no permanent damage, no need for surgery, no scarring, no detached retina, no scratch, no glaucoma." Besides all the good news was the seemless, painless, actually joyful experience with these Good People! Do I recommend Weis Eye Center? With Five Plus Stars! Have nothing but accolades for the entire experience of Lasik at Weis. The process of Lasik can be intimidating and I approached it with a fair amount of trepidation, but the staff's professionalism and confidence completely eases any anxiety. I am beyond thrilled I chose Weis and would highly recommend them to anyone with any sort of eye care needed.

Had lasik done here and I couldn't be happier! The staff is so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was scared out of my mind and almost backed out, it's my vision afterall, but they put me at ease and Dr Weis was amazing! They talk you through everything step by step and make you feel so comfortable. They check, double check, even triple check everything. I now have 20/20 vision and would do it again in a heartbeat!!
