I want to take a moment to thank the entire team at Green Eye Midtown Optical for their wonderful service. From start to finish starting with Ms.Tina and everyone else who was professional, kind, and caring. Mr. Chris in the Optical Department went above and beyond to assist me with my glasses. He communicated clearly, showed genuine concern, and made sure I received the help I needed. His professionalism and compassion truly stood out! I also want to express my gratitude to my provider (whose name I, unfortunately, can't recall as she's currently on maternity leave). She did an amazing job during my exam and was able to detect retinal tears in my eyes something I may not have known about without her careful attention. I'm only 23 so I'm beyond grateful she caught that. I'm so thankful for her thoroughness and care. Overall, I'm very grateful for their outstanding service and dedication to their patients. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality eye care and a staff that genuinely cares about your well-being.

My fiance had a very painful, swollen eye. We came in on a Monday morning and there wasn't a doctor there that day. We were quickly assisted tho by the front desk staff! They could see that he needed to be seen so a call was made to another clinic and we were "fit" in! We could not have asked for better customer service and caring , compassionate people!!! Thank you so much!

Took my daughter for her exam everyone e was so kind and patient. The whole facility was very clean specially with the whole covid situation. Plus I didn't wait long and they took care of my baby quickly but not at the expense of the quality of care. Definitely would recommend and will be back with my entire family.

My child is hard to shop for eyeglass frames (very picky) but the service here was top notch! They found frames he liked (already a tall order), actually listened to what he wanted, rather than try to push something else, explained our lens choices to us and treated us with the care and attention the other optometrists had not. Absolutely will be back! Chris Carter is awesome.

I'm not one to review businesses, but it's important to warn others when a business is irresponsible and unkind to its patients. Dr. Karen and the receptionists seemed to be helpful at first, but huge problems arose upon my first visit. When I scheduled my appointment, I specifically asked if they accepted my insurance. Cigna is my provider. I was told they did accept it and so I made my appointment. On the day of the appointment, I went in to the office, and since I was a new patient to Dr. Karen, who recently purchased the clinic, I asked again if they'd verify my insurance telling them I'd be happy to go somewhere else if they didn't accept it. I was told again that my insurance was accepted and not to worry about it. I paid my $5 copay and saw the doctor. Two weeks later I received a bill for $168 when I was informed by Cigna that Green Eye Midtown Clinic is out of network. I checked with my insurance company who told me that Midtown accepts "some" Cigna polices but not mine. They actually didn't verify my insurance when they guaranteed that I was covered and took my $5 copay and proceeded to bill me for the balance of $168. When I called the clinic they said it was my responsibility and hung up on me. They were completely unreasonable and this whole situation could have been avoided if they had verified my insurance when they assured me they had. It was a nightmare, and I'm thinking I'll get my attorney involved just so they'll take responsibility for their own mistake.

I have been to numerous eye doctors/clinics in the past. Never before have I experienced the level of care and professionalism that Green Eye Institute offers. My son and I are both patie ts here and have always been treated with kindess and respect. All of the staff, from the receptionists to the doctor, are genuine and helpful. My favorite employee is Ashley, who assists in picking out glasses and fitting you for them. She is very open and welcoming, and has the patience of a saint! I strongly recommend this business to anyome who is unsure of which clinic to go to.

I've worn glasses for 20 years and contacts for 13, so I've been in a lot of different eye clinics. This is by far the worst clinic I've ever been to. I saw Dr. Petro and neither he nor any of the nurses would listen to my concerns. Don't get me wrong, they are professional and the place looks nice and all, but they didn't take me seriously when I said my prescription isn't right. When I kept tellling them they had the wrong prescription for me, the nurses and Dr. I saw just kept telling me my eyes were dialated and they would be able to tell best what my Rx was. I've made it this far knowing whether or not someone is giving me a correct prescription, but appartantly they know better. When I told them that I had to drive back to work after my appt, they didn't warn me not to. After my appt they told me I'd be fine to drive even after I said I can't see well and don't think I should. My eyes were so blurry I could barely see to drive and it was dangerous. I couldn't see for a while when I got back to work either. I'm I just think they should warn you not to drive or go back to work after an eye exam. Obviously, I've had eye exams before but I don't know why my vision was so bad after this one. Anyways, my eyes undialated and I saw that yes it was the wrong prescription. I had to go back TWO MORE TIMES before they got my prescription right. When I went back the second time to fix their first mistake, they still didn't get it right so I had to go for a third appt. Why wouldn't you tell them you can't see clearly and the rx is wrong you say? I did and they either didn't listen to me or came up with an excuse as to why I was wrong. These people just have no idea what they are doing and don't listen to their customers who know their own eyes! I would not go back here ever again, not even if they paid me to come. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

My whole family uses this office. They are great with my kids and have reasonable prices. The staff are all very helpful and professional. It's hard to find this quality of service anymore.
