While visiting Hattiesburg, disaster struck when my glasses frame snapped. Desperate, I rushed to an optical clinic just ten minutes before closing. Despite the late hour, they warmly welcomed me.
I explained my predicament and asked for a matching frame. After searching their entire display, they diligently dug through their stockroom and miraculously found an exact match! To my astonishment, they refused any payment, insisting on giving me the frame for free. I was utterly speechless and incredibly grateful for their kindness.

I've worn glasses for 27 years and I've become a fan of a specific frame and color combination. The Optical Shop didn't have it, but they ordered it (plus two more options) for me to try out. It was fast and they definitely went the extra mile. I picked out the ones I wanted and paid only for those. I've used four other places in Hattiesburg and this place is the best!

Go anywhere but here. They act like they are doing you a huge favor by talking to you, the selection, and the shop itself, is tiny, and they won't tell you until after you've paid/filed insurance that you aren't getting the glasses the same day. Theyn use gestures rather than getting out of their chairs to tell you which frames are where, so we were confused and made to feel like we didn't matter the whole time we were there. We will go somewhere else next year.

Huge shoutout to Amanda at the Optical Shop!! One of the temples of my glasses broke off last night and I just stopped by the Optical Shop. Amanda took the lenses out and just popped them into a new frame. When I asked her how much I owed her, she just replied "we'll settle up when you get your new prescription". Best customer service I have ever encountered - hands down. Thank you very much, Amanda!!

Really not a fan. They were all talking amongst themselves when I went in and no one greeted me even after I stood there for a few seconds. The woman who I did talk to was perfectly middle of the road. Not rude, but not friendly. After I paid, I was told I wouldn't get my glasses for 3-5 days. I wish they had told me that before I paid, because if they had, I would have gone elsewhere. Overall not a good experience.
