Eye Institute of Mississippi

I was greeted by Michelle where she checked me in and was super sweet and knew what to do. Then I was greeted by Allison who is patient and fantastic at her job. She was quick, efficient, and kind. Lastly, Josh was very helpful , kind, and helped me. I want to give a shoutout to Kim (I think her name is). She is a contact goddess. The price was extremely fair and I got everything I needed. Everyone needs a raise.

From" check in " to "check out " the Eye Institute of Mississippi is a friendly polite experience! When I call I actually speak with a real person! This office truly cares about their patients -I appreciate them so much!

Dr. Williams has been my hero for many years starting when I first came to Jackson and did not have an eye doctor yet. My right eye was terribly swollen, red and painful. I looked like a monster. Dr. Williams immediately diagnosed the problem and ordered the eye drops needed which cleared it right up Now Josh has also become my hero taking all the time necessary to ensure my eye health is correctly handled. I am so thankful for this eye clinic and all the wonderful people who work here.

I was referred to Dr Williams office by my My Dr at the MEA and I can truly say that was the best decision ever I absolutely enjoy every visit Ms Michelle always give such a welcoming visit my second appointment there as I was walking up she knew exactly who I was without me even saying she is such a sweet heart

Good experience with this office visit. I had an appointment and was taken in soon after arrival for a whole battery of eye test. Very courteous and professional staff. Quick and thorough service.

My mom had a doctors appointment at 1pm. They called us back about 1:05pm. I noticed it was 2pm and we were still waiting. When asked how much longer before he comes in , I was told by the nurse we would be next. About 2:25 pm I went out to use the phone and saw Mr. Terrell checking out another patient that had come in way after us. When he finally came in The room I asked him why every time we come to the appointment that it takes so long for him to see us. He stoped me and said we could find another doctor. I just was in disbelief, and said we was waisting time asking questions. I immediately told my 81 year old mom that we will not be returning back. He tried to get nice at the end but the damage was already done. I believe he sees the African Americans patients last

I have had a couple good visits but one that I'll never forget and the one that caused me to never ever go back again still causes me to feel uncomfortable when I think of it. I typically don't like things really close to my eyes. Dr. Williams did not warn me that he was putting drops in my eyes and forcefully opened my eyes to put drops in. He asked me to stop tensing up but I could not resist because he was causing me to tense up. He caused me to spend too much money on drops that never fixed my eyes. When you call no one answers the phone. Unfortunately they only answer the phone and do call backs on certain days of the week. It took 3 weeks for my contacts to come In and cost me almost $115 a month. He never apologized for making me feel uncomfortable after I told him he did. That to me is terrible service and I will never go back there again and caution anyone that does. He does not allow you to talk to him and he treats his appointments as if he is always in a hurry.

This clinic is the most professional and efficient eye care clinic I've visited in this area. I've taken my elderly parent here for years and I'm now a patient myself. I especially commend them for their cleanliness between patients and their kindness and respect to others.
