I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. My first visit went fairly well. However, after being given a trial pair of contact lenses, I struggled significantly with my vision and could not see clearly. I wore them for about a week hoping things would improve, but they did not. I scheduled a follow-up appointment and clearly explained that I was unhappy with the fit and my ability to see. Instead of addressing my concerns, the doctor attributed my vision problems to my age (43) without resolving the issue. When I reiterated that I still could not see well, he became visibly agitated and conducted another exam. During this visit, I asked whether the medications I take could have affected my original exam. When I disclosed my prescribed medication (which I take legally and under medical supervision), the interaction escalated dramatically. I was told he could not see me because of this medication and was instructed to leave the office, despite the fact that I had already paid for services and ordered glasses that had not yet arrived. When I requested a receipt so I could submit it to my insurance and seek care elsewhere, I was refused. Staff ultimately called the police simply because I would not leave without documentation of the visit I had already paid for. I remained calm and stayed inside the building, knowing I had done nothing wrong. When the police arrived, they apologized for the situation and for how I was treated. One officer personally went to obtain my receipt, and they reassured me that they did not want this experience to reflect poorly on Lucedale as a community. Additionally, my medication information was discussed openly in front of staff, which made me extremely uncomfortable and felt inappropriate and unprofessional. In my opinion, violating HIPAA. For comparison, I later visited a large retailer in Mobile Alabama , where my prescription was completely different. I could see clearly the same day, did not need an adjustment period, and received glasses that worked wonderfully. If you are someone who experiences anxiety, PTSD, OCD, or who simply values a calm, respectful, and non-judgmental environment, I would strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere. This experience was distressing and avoidable, and no patient should feel intimidated or dismissed when advocating for their own vision and health.

My experience at The Vision Center in Lucedale, MS was the best! Everyone was so patient and explained each step of my exam- Dr Trainer was awesome! I love my new glasses, they keep my eyes from feeling strained and fit perfectly. I highly recommend The Vision Center in Lucedale, MS!

I had such a great experience at the Vision Center in Lucedale! Dr. Trainer was incredibly patient during my exam. She never rushed. She took her time and answered all of my many questions thoroughly. I've always struggled with wearing contacts, but thanks to her patience, we were finally able to figure out the right fit for me. Britney in the office also went above and beyond. She was so patient and kind every time I called, working with me until we found the perfect pair of contacts that my eyes could handle. As I was running late, due to the weather, I arived a little past their closing time. The staff took the time to unlock the door and allow me to retrieve my trial pair of contacts. I honestly did not expect them to take time after they had closed to assist me, and I had thought that everyone may have left for the day. I truly appreciate the level of care and personal attention I received from the entire team. If you're looking for eye care where you feel heard and cared for, this is your place!

Had an eye exam and new prescription done 5/27. They mess up on the prescription and gave me one that was to strong, went from 175 to 300. Went an got glasses when they came back they were way to strong gave me headaches. Went back to them and they told me basically they were nothing they would do. My family is done with a place that will not make a mistake right. Been a patient for 5 or 6 years

My experience with The vision center goes back to my age of 14, im almost 56 years old now ....Overall thruout the years the care is awesome here at the Vision Center in Wiggins. Dr Loose Sr was a great Dr and His Son now carries all that greatness his dad had. Kind, friendly, great customer service. Alot of my family and friends comes here as well. And we all feel the exact same way!!. So I have nothing but love for Dr Loose and his team at the Vision Center.

Dr. Loose was great! He taught us about eye care and why we should bring our children for a check before there is a problem. They see children as young as 1 year of age, which is excellent! I will be scheduling more appointments for my other two boys. Thank you to all the NICE staff at this office.

We love this eye clinic! They were so patient with my daughter and also when I had to have glasses they were amazing and got me in and out quick. The staff is so friendly and fought for me with insurance when it came to my daughter and that meant a lot.

For some reason they don't seem to listen to you when you tell them that you have amblyopia which is called lazy eye and that you want both your lenses in both sides to be the same exact as if you had 20/20 vision no they decide to put for my corrected vision in my right eye but then left my left eye was just a piece of glass in it like I told them they're not paying for my glasses my company is paying for my glasses so you shouldn't get that decision to make that plus the lady that was helping me with my glasses informed me in a rude way that you have bifocals and not all glasses are going to work for you I said well why didn't you tell me that when I picked these out I said that's what your job is right is to help me with my glasses some of them women in their have attitude problems it's not my fault that your PMSing or menopausing
