I've known Dr Gira for several years, more than 20 years as a matter of fact! I can't imagine having my cataract surgery done by anyone else. He did my LASIK procedure back in 2001 and he did a wonderful job and being able to see for all those years so clearly, I know he'll do the same for me with this cataract removal. Dr. Joseph Gira, MD, is a graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine receiving his Doctorate degree with distinction. His transitional internship was at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis. Dr. Gira completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center, Hermann Eye Center. He has been in private practice in St. Louis since 1999.
