It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a call back on a refill for a medication. If you want good service from the staff, you will want to find another doctor. Dr Bursatti is great, but the staff makes it terrible.

I called and was put on hold for over 30 minutes so I went and used a different phone to call the office and they answered and took my call. I told her I was still on hold on the other phone and no one would answer. There was no apology, she just acted like I was bothering her. this is the worst run office I have ever seen in my life

This place is a joke! I will not be going back as they left me in the waiting room and kept calling people in that had come in behind me. When I first checked in, there were only TWO people ahead of me and even the woman at window said so. However I sat there for 45 minutes past my appointment, and I went up and asked her what was going on, and the only response she gave me was, "Everybody came in all at once." Well that's not my problem. When I tried to explain to her that I have been sitting there, and there was only supposed to be two people ahead of me and all these people that came in the office after me were called before me, she did not want to listen and she just put her head down and ignored me. I went back and sat down for another five minutes and when somebody else walked in and they called them in, I got up and left. They had the nerve to send me a message saying that I either didn't show up or that I canceled my appointment, and to call the office to make another one!! They have the new patient paperwork that I filled out and also a copy of my insurance and driver's license. By them sending this message it means that they never even knew that I had been there or checked in. I drove all the way from Pacific Missouri for that appointment. What a waste of time that was.

I am extremely disappointed in this practice. Do not come here unless you are prepared to wait 3+ hours past your scheduled appointment. My family and I have been long-time patients, but this office continues to take advantage of our time. I arrived for my yearly LASIK check-up in the morning, and by 2PM I was still sitting in the waiting room--never seen. At 24 weeks pregnant I had to leave to avoid missing my prenatal appointment, which meant I wasted valuable time and lost income from taking off work. This kind of treatment toward paying patients is unacceptable. After repeated negative experiences, I will not be returning. I would rather give my time and money to a practice that respects its patients.

Beware: I recommend thinking twice before investing your time or your health with this place, especially with Dr Malhotra. After spending 14 years under his care, delaying needed treatment while paying for unnecessary tests and procedures (sometimes directly out of pocket, like for collagen cross linking therapy which was a waste of time & money), he finally passed me off to another doctor rather then provide the surgical care I needed to correct my vision problems. His main focus is in making as much money as he can off of his patients, and wastes your time while doing it. I've had to reschedule many visits after waiting well over an hour after my appointment time to see him. I ended up having to seek proper medical care from another provider, and was finally able to get the medical treatment I needed almost immediately.

Everytime I come here there is an extremely long wait time AFTER your appointment time. I got here 12min early for a 2:30 appt. It is now 3 and I am still sitting here waiting to be called back. WHY? This is highly unacceptable. When I first started coming here it was a good experience. Then they have the gall to post "As a courtesy to others we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late". How about have the courtesy to those who are on time and see them at the scheduled time. Not 30 minutes later. This is no reflection on the doctor I see but how the office is ran.

I tell everyone I know about Ophthalmology Associates. I'm so pleased with the results. No more glasses! It started with the most friendly staff at Sullivan Hospital . Absolutely not one thing negative could be said. Even the staff that starts the process rolling on the initial phone call. What caring and friendly people. The amount of time you wait in that office is ridiculous. I can understand if it was once in a while that had happened, but it's every time. You have an appointment time of 1030 and you might get into the doctor at 1 PM. There is no excuse. This is the worst run office I've ever seen.
