Clarkson Eyecare

I had such a great experience at Clarkson Eyecare! The front-of-house staff was amazing--so friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I honestly wish I had started coming here a long time ago. They even have eye tests that Walmart or Sam's Club vision centers don't offer. I highly recommend Clarkson Eyecare to everyone and anyone looking for top-notch care and service!

Not a fan of this location. My wife went and ordered glasses. A month ago. That's right it took a whole month for them to come in. We called after a week and they said "oh we forgot to order them". Uh ok. Each week we would call. Nothing. Today we called. They said oh they came in yesterday, didn't you get our text. No. There was no text. Just a very frustrating experience. We will go elsewhere from now on.

I really tried to give Clarkson the benefit of the doubt, but after several instances of terrible customer service, I just can't. I have had numerous issue with this practice over the years. For instance, this year, I called to reschedule my annual eye exam because I was going to be out of town. When I called the main number, I was routed to a call center, not the local office. I asked to reschedule my annual eye exam, but apparently they scheduled me for a "medical check." I didn't realize that until I arrived for my appointment. They wouldn't do my exam and made me reschedule again. I also needed them to remake my glasses three times before I could see out of them. To top it all off, I received a bill 6+ months after my appointment. It turns out they told me I had insurance coverage for new glasses but I didn't. That made my bill $300+ more than I was expecting. I called the main line twice, left two messages, and have not received any callback. I also called the local office and left a message, but have not heard back. My advice: avoid Clarkson and switch to a local eye doctor immediately!

Clarkson Eye Care in Fenton Mo. has been my eye care place for more than a decade. The doctors and staff actually care about you. The doctors take the time to explain, and show pictures of the inside of your eye. The staff has always fixed problems with my glasses.

My experience is always a pleasant one. Dr Bissell is so sweet and takes time with you.

Everyone was very helpful, kind , made me feel important not like just the next person here for an appointment, very satisfied with my obstetrician I feel like he improved my sight and was very knowledgeable. Very satisfied

Horrible customer service, they just flat out do not value your time. Last year for my annual appointment, I received the text to confirm my appointment and responded with confirmation. When I showed up to my appointment, I was told my appointment was cancelled because I did not respond. I showed them the text thread on my phone, including their acknowledgement of receiving the confirmation. They were able to get my in about an hour later. This was annoying, but I was going to look past it as just a mistake on their part. Fast forward to today, I show up for my appointment only to be told they need to cancel all of their appointments for the doctor I was supposed to see. Incredibly inconsiderate to not send a phone call or text that they need to cancel. Instead they let their customers take time off work, come to the appointment, and be told the appointment needs to be rescheduled. Zero chance I will ever visit Clarkson Eyecare again.

Clarkson Eyecare Fenton is a great store for eye glasses. The staff are super friendly, and the doctor did not rush me, making sure to arrive at the best lens prescription. I would highly recommend this store based on my experiences there.
