I made the switch to Premier two or three years ago and have always left my regular glasses exams content and satisfied. Lately, I've been having some issues with my eyes but put off calling them for quite some time. When I finally called and explained what was going on, they got me an appointment the same day to check my eyes out. I had never seen Dr. Ashley Lemonds until then, and I'm disappointed in that because she was wonderful. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and she seemed to genuinely care about her work. I told her that I have pretty high medical anxiety and instead of writing me off, she checked in with me to see if I was comfortable throughout the exam. She also gave me some autonomy over my treatment plan (OTC or prescription medication) which is kind of unheard of in healthcare. The desk staff and technicians are great too!
Eye dr told me knew nothing of cataracts or other eye issues, refused staevanything of other than need for glasses, said hewas strictly an optometrist, and knew of no eye surgeon to help me as I was told had developed cataracts during previous 2 exams provider been going to sice 2000. Yet when got my quarterly bills of payments, Premier Eyecare billed my Medicare and Medicaid for a Cataract visit charged me over $189 for kid size bifocal glasses never cost me over $5 out of pocket since I began needing glasses 1985? Would not recommend them as also got wrong script. Heard same comments about them in waiting room of surgeon and when my regular optometrist got remodeled after flooding that caused me to have to see this facility as a con artist place who lies to clients, over charges and missiles to get most money from your insurance and cost client more out of pocket than should be necessary.
I had an appointment not that long ago. The staff was nice and polite then. But when I came back to order glasses the lady that set me up with the glasses said I had out standing balance which I did not know and that I could go ahead and order my glasses and make arrangements for the outstanding bill. I put my money down on the glasses and the find out that the deposit went on the complete bill. Then when I called about this I was out on hold three times. Couldn't get a start answer from them. Then I called again today the lady that answered was very rude because I asked for to know what the glasses cost and my office visit. She huff and puffed well I will have to go look it up like I was asking so much from her. By the time she got to me on the phone I was inside the office. Wow!! I know my old bill was paid off by now and said I would like cancel my glasses and go somewhere else. But of course there is a restocking fee for that. Of course I said. I paid on my bill and left. I really don't want to get the glasses now due to the problems I have had to deal with. Not a good experience here.
While very nice in person, my glasses were sent without frames. Waited a week called, left message, no response. Called again, hung up on. Called again, no answer. To be fair they took very good care of my children, perhaps just bad luck of the draw. Very nice people, with the exception of the receptionist named Rachel, she is very rude.
We had an amazing experience!! They were quick about working us in as we needed in before school started! (I had called everywhere within a hour driving distance from me)... When I called they asked me what days worked best for me and times! They were able to get the day and time down I needed almost perfectly! Once we got there for our appt all the staff was amazing and very friendly! This was my daughters first eye appt ever and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her! When the doctor was done it was decided glasses were the best option! The staff helped us pick out the perfect pair & even adjusted them before leaving that day so we didn't have to drive back over a hour for her to try them on again and get them adjusted (so no school was ever missed)! They even worked with us on the payments! We were able to pay half then and the other half when we picked them up! I wouldn't recommend any other place, this is the best place hands down!
Best eye care center! My kids and I have always had the best service! They have always been great to fix my kids' glasses and appointments are scheduled within a decent time frame, meaning we don't have to wait half a year to be seen! They are great at working with us and getting us in as quickly as possible! Highly recommend them! Friendly staff and great providers!
Premier Eyecare Associates are top notch! I had trouble getting my daughter into an eye doctor, and they got my daughter in within the week! We had a great office experience, with a full exam. We were greeted with a friendly smile as we were referred to get glasses, and wonderful opinions and options were shown to us. I highly recommend going to them for all your eye needs!
Premiere eyecare was amazing, they were so nice, and the best part was they didn't shoot air into my eye (for that test) they have a eyedrop they use. My glasses came in about 15 days. Great, professional, service that I'd recommend, to a friend.
