Isabella, the admin for Dr. Currier, was the epitome of excellent customer service and professionalism. She was kind, patient and thorough in assisting me with a concern I had regarding the verification of some information on our Mercy account.
We had to wait 30 minutes after the eye tech completed my husband's examination to see Dr. Currier. However, after introducing herself she immediately apologized for the delay and explained that some additional tests needed to be performed for her previous patient.
My husband and I appreciated the explanation. By sharing that information with us, it was evident that she places a high value on the quality of care she delivers to her patients.
She also took the time to explain her findings regarding my husband's eye exam and provided information for future care when it came to him being in the beginning stages of developing cataracts.
Prior to the Dr seeing us another staff member provided my husband with a cup of water upon request. He commented that the coffee smelled good and she also offered him some. She too, was very courteous, friendly and cheerful.
Overall, it was an excellent experience! It was refreshing to experience the level of professionalism coupled with courteousness and excellent customer service displayed by everyone with which we interacted from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we walked out the door. THANK YOU ALL for a great customer experience!
We were told to show up 15 minutes early and we did. Waited for awhile which is fine but then get back to exam room, get looked at by assistant then she says she will get doctor....its been almost an hour since anyone has come in and they said the doctor still has to do an exam as well.....
After waiting over an hour for doctor to come back. I stepped out to let my child use restroom and she Immediately ran out of her office to ask if she was using rest room and would be right with us.
Dr was ok. DO NOT give them your glasses. If you do, make sure you have Proof of ZERO scratches before you go into their facility. They will put them on a machine and check them as standard, but they come out with grease and thumb prints, AND scratches, swirl like as if they were done with the wrong cloth and zero spray, it is obvious. They will then blame you for doing it or say they were rubbed on carpet or trees, this is from the office manager. Who says that? So make sure you have proof or you will be out money to replace said lenses. It doesn't matter the age of glasses if they are taken care of, just because the manager or others have scratches on theirs, doesn't mean everyone else does as well. Also, they are slow at returning phone calls and are condescending. Update: took glasses and lens to a different facility. It was confirmed they had exposed it to a heat source which melted coating on glasses to expose scratches. Which Jill at Mercy said as well that it looks like a coating was melted. Yet still refused for her group to take responsibility. Still blame you. Act like the will open a claim, but do not.
If you love having your time wasted, this is the place for you!!! Waited 2 hours and never saw the doctor. After the first hour, I finally made it to the exam room. Once I had been there for 2 hours I got up and walked out. Never got a phone call to reschedule, but she put on my medical records as if I didn't even show up to my appointment... how cute.
Terrible wait time with no explanation. Tell you to show up 15 minutes
prior. I would not show up until your actual appointment time because you will wait an hour for your appointment. I was in medicine for 35 years and routine eye exams don't take that long to complete. Recommend another clinic
Good staff, good care, regular check-up, no issues with any partr.
I would rate them a zero if I could. They have the worst customer service. I tried telling the Dr what I wanted but she insisted that's not what I needed, basically ignoring me and treating me like I don't know what works best for me.
The exam was basically done twice. Once by the assistant and once by the Dr. Why?? I was a little early for my appointment but actually got to go back rather late, when I came out (around 4:30) and wanted to look at frames that part of the office was closed. The sign says open from 8:00-5:00. I went back at 2:45 the following day and the entire office was closed.
After buying frames and lenses elsewhere and trying them for several weeks I wanted to ask them to change my trifocal prescription to a bi focal. I go to the office at 3:00 in the afternoon and was told, quite abruptly by the lady supposably selling frames, that there was no one there. No receptionist and no Dr.
I would not recommend Mercy for much of anything after my experience.
The doctor is really nice. Some of the stuff is rude. But it takes soo long to just get my kids done. We were here at 3:28 pm. And his Appointment is at 3:30 and still sitting here and it's 437 we haven't seen the doctor yet.
