Summit Lakes Eye Care

I don't think I've ever had a better, more accurate prescription for my eyes. Dr. Roadman was great. First time here and everything turned our amazing. I've always had to have adjustments to my prescription after getting my glasses but not this time. The world is clear again!

I have never felt the joy I felt today watching my 10 year old see for the first time in her life without glasses. She is perpetually made fun of. Can't see her family or friends at the pool or at the lake! This was supposed to be for safety purposes and behavior rewards. Well, I'm more than sold. I can see my child's Beautiful face!!! Dr Roadman and Dr Cottle have always been so helpful and understanding. However, today Stephanie outdid herself showing a 10.5 year old adhd kid how to use contacts! So sweet and patient!! The joy it brought myself and Evelyn was immense. Vanessa, cried and cared too. You don't normally go to any doctors office and actually interact with people who care. Made the sweetest notes and mini gift bag. Not to forget Kaylee and Julie! Thank you all so much! My gratitude is endless! See you next week!!!

Took my 12 year old Daughter in for her very 1st eye exam. Hands down a 5 star rating. The entire staff was friendly, patient, kind and gentle with her. From the girl doing the initial tests, to the Dr. & the girl showing her glasses.

First visit was great second visit doctor said he dilated my eyes but they were not. Couldn't see out of the glasses well. Ended up never wearing them third visit everyone seems so nice. I purchased the magnet polarized lens that have little magnets that basically snap on to your glasses. I was under the impression these were like sunglasses they do not keep the Sun out the first time wearing them and the sun hit my eyes I felt blinded. They do not protect against the Sun. When I picked up my glasses I told them I could not see very well out of them they said I had to get used to them. In 45 years of wearing glasses I never had to get used to my glasses I was able to see it well out of them right away. My mother had passed away and I wasn't able to get back to them after the two weeks they told me to come back when I did call them several months later they said it was too late I would have to pay for another eye exam. I went to America's Best they were amazing I can't say enough about them they gave me a thorough exam and said they could not prescribe me glasses because I had cataracts and I had to see an ophthalmologist. Within 2 months of that exam I had cataract surgery. The eye doctor at Summit lakes eye center should have never prescribed me glasses let alone purchased these Polaroid snap-ons. I took the glasses that I bought from Summit lake over to America's Best and they went to adjust them for me and said that where the little magnets were placed the plastic is spidering out cracking. I'm just so disappointed in the services with Summit lake eye center I will never go back ever. America's Best is so much better and does a much more thorough examination than Summit lake eye Care.

Very impressed! I used to take my daughter to those franchise eye centers. After a couple visits to SLEC, I'll never go back. The doc took the time to dig deep into my daughter's poor eyesight. He asked me several times if "this" or "that" is a concern. I'm pretty sure he tested her prescription a few times to make sure it's correct. The staff took the time to walk my daughter through every potential pair of glasses. Again, very impressed! I received a text a week or so later to call or text to schedule fitting for glasses. Super convenient.

Thank God for Dr. Roadman! If it wasn't for him, examining my eyes and doing such a thorough job I would've ended up with the detached retina! I have to admit he is one of the very best optometrist out there. I will recommend everyone to go and see him. Thanks to him. I have my eyesight!

Summit Lakes Eyecare is the best eyecare place ever they care about their patients very much. I was out of contacts I called yesterday they were going to supply me with temporary ones until my new ones came in. I got there late the office was closed. The cleaning lady was there, she could not let me in to get my contacts as she was not authorized to do so I called the emergency on-call doctor he offered to drive there to let me in to get my contacts so I had them for the holidays and I now have my contacts for the holidays. This definitely speaks volume how much they are willing to help their patients! Thank you Dr. Eric for your help!!! Merry Christmas!

As a unique patient with 1 eye that needs help on distance and the other that needs help up close, Dr. Roadman was extremely helpful. I was interested in going back to contacts and after several trials with different options, Dr. Roadman found the perfect fit, comfort, and the front office worked out the details with my insurance plan!
