Target Optical

I have truly had a great experience with the Target Optical in Lee's Summit. Friendly associates and helpful especially TARYN (can't say enough good things about her!!!) SARAH and PAIGE!!! What a great team they have and so eager to help. My glasses are so cute and the prescription seems to be perfect! Looking forward to seeing them again for my next pair!

I had a very disappointing experience with this Target Optical location. i scheduled my eye exam (the only good part), after I had placed an order on Target.com and authorized the website to request my prescription directly from this store. For a full week i received follow up emails and calls, Target.com told me they had faxed and called multiple times with no response. When I called the store myself, the associate I spoke with was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. She repeatedly said, "to my knowledge we haven't received any requests," but made no effort to actually check. She then handed the phone to a coworker who said, "I'm not on the clock," before also being unhelpful. I was told the only option was to come in person to pick up a printed copy because "Target.com and Target Optical don't connect," and that they supposedly don't receive prescription requests from Target.com at all. After that call, I contacted Target Optical's main support line and spoke with a supervisor. The supervisor called this same location and--suddenly--the same associate who had been unhelpful with me was able to send my prescription immediately, something she had just insisted she could not do. The inconsistency and attitude made this an extremely unpleasant experience. I hope the store improves its customer service and communication, because no one should have to go through this much effort just to get their own prescription.

Taryn M is incredible! Not only if she kind, but it is absolutely so knowledgeable in all things optical. Not only did she help solve our problems, answered all of our questions, but was able to do a special order to make my daughter's glasses, one of a kind and super special! Please give her all the gold stars and all the kudos. What a high class employee ypu have! Please keep more people like this! She is an absolute treasure!

Stopped in needing an adjustment on my prescription sunglasses. Taryn was extremely helpful and efficient. Got my glass back faster than expected, and in perfect condition. Highly recommend this store for all your Eyewear needs.

We have used Target optical in Lee's Summit, MO for years. We have really liked Dr. Sanders for my daughter and that is the only reason I have continued to go there. But every time we have order glasses there has been an issue with something while ordering/receiving the glasses. They don't order the right lenses, the wrong frames always something. The people that work there are the most incompetent, rude people I have ever dealt with. I tried to order my daughter replacement glasses using the insurance we paid for. I called months ago to verify when the insurance expired to ensure I didn't miss the time window. I called today to order the replacement glasses, the Manager who I have dealt with several times as usual was incredibly rude and refused to help. Told me my insurance was as no longer valid the person gave me the wrong date based off of when we received my daughter's second pair of glasses. Because surprise the first pair was wrong as always with a target optical. So they based the 15 month window off of the original glasses (that were wrong) and not the pair she ended up with a month later. I asked her if there was someone else I could speak with she said I mean I could google a number for you. She also said she could of helped me if I was within weeks not months passed the time. Which I was a few weeks passed. I was definitely upset with her refusal to help or even let me get in contact with someone who could help and resolve this. All I wanted to was pay the $50 for replacement glasses nothing for free and to honor the date I was told that was in fact 15 months from when we received the glasses. I ended up calling another location to see if I could get in contact with a district manager. I called the liberty location, Rachael took my info to pass along to the district manager. She also asked me what was going on, I explained the situation and she immediately said she could help me and was surprised to hear all I wanted was the pay to replace the glasses. She was kind and willing to help me. I can't be more thankful for her. And will never go to the Lee's summit location again. The liberty location will from now on have my business!

I was over the moon happy with the customer service Dr. Sanders and Target team gave to me recently. You will not be disappointed. Come and SEE for yourself !!
