Visionworks Summit Fair

When we arrived, everyone was very professional. They were already prepared with our information from start to finish. They were knowledgeable regarding insurance coverage and explained everything in detail. I am easily overwhelmed however, this was the most pleasant, stress-free appointment I've ever experienced. They were great and the doctor was very friendly and personable. Danae' was our Customer Care advocate and she was phenomenal, check her out!

I received the most supported, informational, concerned care ever received at Visionworks and any other eye care facility from this very pleasant and beautiful young lady who I didn't make note of her name. We posed many questions to her and some probably painfully redundant while trying to rush through the process to leave to make our next appointment. But her commitment to excellence in her role was on full display. Her patience and professionalism, combined with her thoroughness, thoughtfulness and clear competency were completely evident. She assisted both my husband and I with that same level of superior customer care. I can only describe her as having a very full head of beautiful brown wavy/curly hair and was wearing a very stylish nose ring with a small chain attached and eyeglasses herself with a bright welcoming smile. Visionworks is lucky and should be honored to have her on their team! **Once I get her name I will add it to this review to give specific credit where it's due! !!JANAE!! is this wonderful young ladies name! She was just as fantastic upon our return visit just to pick up our eyeglasses as before and equally engaging and attentive, just FANTASTIC!

Absolutely horrible, had an appointment for Friday 1/16 at 9:30 am that I scheduled since the beginning of the year for an eye exam to get new glasses and the night before at 4pm they cancelled my appointment. I let some time go bye and called before they closed and told them I was confused because I hadn't canceled my appointment. The lady on the phone said the previous girl canceled all the appointments before 10am the 16th because there was no one available and that she left without contacting anyone that had the early appointments. If they knew no one was going to be available why did they decide to cancel the night before and not do it ahead of time to properly accommodate people and on top of that give no follow up to the cancellation? I haven't been to any vision works location and I can say I will never be to one after this experience, she did not even try to make things better. This was a horrible experience to a place I have never been before.

Wonderful staff!!! They are very efficient, communicative and have a good energy in the building. I love how sweet and genuine they are!!! More specifically the lovely lady at the front desk, Brandi Taylor!!! She was very welcoming and reassuring. Finally no anxiety!!! Thank you so much <3

I received the BEST service from Hibry! I've not had new glasses in two years. I was allowed to browse, unbothered, and when we sat to try them on, she was invested and honest. She pointed out that the first pair was exactly like the pair I was wearing! HAHA Found a new look for me, same frame shape, but up to date/current and less expensive than the previous pair. so happy they sell #LAMB When I went to pick them up, which was a very quick 5 days, she was so genuine on how good both pairs looked on me. I'm so happy. I don't have insurance, but Visionworks has a real BOGO deal. I was so excited to find out that prescription sunglasses were included. I've never had those and was tired of putting cheap sunglasses over my glasses to drive.

Optometrist was excellent in caring for my elderly mother. He went over everyone of her concerns and took time to make her feel comfortable and heard. Staff went out of their way to help her pick glasses she liked and that were comfortable. Great place to get vision needs taken care off!

I had a wonderful experience at Lee's Summit Visionworks! The entire eye care team was professional, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. The doctors were very thorough during the exam and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. The staff went above and beyond to help me find the right frames and made sure I felt confident with my choices. The whole process--from check-in to picking out glasses--was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Lee's Summit Visionworks for anyone looking for excellent eye care and outstanding customer service!

I will never spend another dime with this store. I actually used to work at this location when I was in college and that's why I chose to get glasses here. I enjoyed working there and the glasses were quality. I have been getting text messages since 11-25-25 that my glasses are in and ready to be picked up. I was sick so couldn't go until yesterday (12-4-25). Drove an hour to pick them up only to arrive at an empty store. No one there and door locked. According to the hours posted they should have been there. No sign on the door, no answering machine with an update as to why they were closed. I called the independence store to see if they knew why and the manager said it's because they couldn't get anyone scheduled to work so they just didn't open. Absolutely ridiculous, when I worked there we would have all been fired for that and fined for not having the store open. I called the lees summit store today to see if they were open before driving an hour again....no answer. I called customer service and they had no idea why the store was yet again not open. They claim they will have upper management reach out to me but it hasn't happened yet. I requested a full refund and was told that has to be done in person.....but how, if no one wants to work and keep the store open to customers? I paid just under $1,000 for two pairs of glasses. They have my money and now aren't open to give me my glasses or my refund. Completely unacceptable!
