I went in for a check to make sure I wasn't experiencing vision issues due to diabetes. They did an unnecessary eye exam, which I had to pay out of pocket. To add insult to injury I had to listen to the eye exam tech's idiotic political views the entire time I was there. And the ophthalmologist was extremely condescending. He tells me they could get me to 4K vision, implying my glasses were inferior because they didn't come from his company (We used to live in Mexico). My vision had changed so little the prescription wasn't enough of a change to even notice. I went to Walmart for glasses, only because I needed new frames, and to avoid the gouge here. My wife got glasses here, and was talked down to and treated very poorly by the women in the front. They not only were rude, but they gave her the wrong sized glasses. She took them back, and ended up with transition lenses she didn't want. They were so nasty to her she didn't want to go back again for them to probably screw it up one more time. My wife is a water resources engineer, who is probably smarter than the entirety of this office combined. Maybe instead of being rude and condescending, act professional, and everyone else should keep their personal opinions to themselves.

I have struggled with glaucoma and Dr Ullrich did laser surgery and tried to bring my pressures down and when that didn't work he put stents in and they were a huge success! Highly recommend him!

They treat you like family, if you happen to show up 15 minutes late, they won't send you back home, like some places out there, family won't do that. Terry Elder

My first eye exam after my husband died, he was a crackerjack Certified Ophthalmic Technician was with, Amanda, a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA). She said I was 20/20, I am not and only the doctor should give me a diagnosis. She read my glasses and my dead husband's glasses (which look a lot like mine) on the auto-reader, I wanted to see if I could use his glasses. I could not use his. She put my glasses in his case, so when I left, I donated MY glasses instead of his. I had to go back and have them find my glasses in the donation box. In the meantime, they offered a FREE second refraction (why can't they get it right the first time?). I told them my old glasses were fine, they were just all scratched up and I needed a new RX to get new glasses, so the opticians just edited my RX and gave me a copy of what my old RX was. In the meantime, I went to a different office, and they did the refraction properly. I went back for my FREE second refraction. Emily helped me first; she was ignorant about the instrument she was using and then she LAUGHED at me for being upset about my situation. Amanda, the terrible COA, came into the room to diffuse the situation and berated me for being upset. I tried to diffuse the tense situation and made a nice comment about her beautiful hair. She retorted, "I don't want to be personal. Let's keep this professional." I would've kept it professional, but she is NOT PROFESSIONAL. I walked out. I'm requesting a refund for FAILED refraction and an aborted re-refraction.
