Rockwood Eye care has been outstanding in diagnosing, testing, listening to my issues and treatment of my optic needs. Dr Jacques is beyond thorough in his evaluations and explanations of my conditions. The office's optician, Mindy, is quite knowledgeable, friendly, patient and helpful. I'm so glad that my physical therapist and occupational therapist recommended that I be seen there!!!

Excellent, Excellent! State of the art equipment. Dr. Jacques takes the time to explain in detail and it is very appreciated. I always believed the suggestion about eating carrots to help your eyes, he explained and straightened me out on that one. The carrots, it isn't true, you are supposed to eat green leafy veggies. He is so intelligent and Lisa and he make you so comfortable. I will keep them the rest of my life. They definitely are the ones you need to make an appointment with. Very honesty and educated. I have been to almost all the other places, including Clarkson, America's, where they rush you and are the ones I had a lot of problems with, but Rockwood Eyecare far exceeds beyond your wildest thoughts of what eyecare should be like.

Dr Jacques is fantastic! I had never been to the eye doctor before (I never thought my vision was that bad) however, developing a stigmatism i decided to finally go. He explained my entire vision plan to me, and was incredibly patient and kind throughout the whole process. When I got my glasses, they offered to make adjustments to all of my sunglasses as well as my new prescription. I couldn't believe my eyes when I put the glasses on and everything became so much more clear! Very affordable, and the entire staff was very friendly.

Dr. Jacques is a highly knowledgeable optical specialist. He was able to do extensive testing in his office, which allowed him to show pictorial evidence of what was happening to my husband's eyes post-stroke. Because he is passionate about patient education, he uses common analogies that help him explain the highly sophisticated test results in a way that is easy to understand. He prescribed optical exercises to strengthen areas where deficiencies were revealed. His staff is also very friendly and efficient. They possess the knowledge to work with your insurance provider and take the time to do so on their patients' behalf.

I highly recommend Rockwood Eyecare for your needs! Staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable! Goes above and beyond to explain all details and answer questions. Very thorough exam process with the top of the line equipment! I never feel rushed. Always on time!

First time seeing Dr Jacques and he is OUTSTANDING! So patient and kind. He explained to me some things about my eyes that I had never been told before but should have. He is easy to talk with and welcomes questions. He definitely has a higher level of experience and knowledge than any eye doctor I've ever been to in the past. The staff is professional and kind. Highly recommend! He is definitely my new eye doctor!
