Billings Family Eyecare

I decided to try Billings Family Eyecare's newer Shiloh location this year mainly because the location was close to my job location. My experience was good during the exam; when I got my glasses I was having trouble with focus so they did a recheck t assure my prescription was correct. After the first recheck they wanted to do a more in depth one; I was repeatedly assured it would be free. A month later I got a request for my medical insurance info; this had never happened for an eye appointment before, I should have said no. Now I have a bill to pay because my insurance has a deductible and apparently didn't cover what they submitted. I feel this was very unethical after being assured that the recheck would be free; I am a low income senior citizen and have to be cautious regarding spending.They haven't responded to messages i have sent about the charge.

I don't review things here, but i am doing this so wholeheartedly!! This place was an absolute gift!! This is for the new West End location on Shiloh - specifically Dr. Stephanie Shoults. I have been looking for a new place for my family for a few years now after spending 25+ years with one optometrist. Tried and failed a couple of times all the while feeling overlooked, rushed, disregarded, etc. I've been living with subpar eyesight for what seems like an eternity. I took a gamble on this place. Step 1...book the appointment. When I called, the employee was laughing before she greeted me. The mood was upbeat, light and she was thorough and engaging. Step 2...go to the appointment. We walked in to a personal, professional, bright, and positive environment. The energy was very uplifting. I have never - and I mean NEVER - been told what was happening, what was being seen, what to expect and SHOWN how things have changed with my eyes. There was a split second there that I welled up from being so relieved. NOT ONCE did I feel like an inconvenience. I did not feel rushed. Dr. Shoults had suggestions for my eyes that I had never heard before. She cared. She related. She WANTED me to see better. The post office visit staff was so accommodating as well. I was given options and what to expect with every one of them. I was not pressured into buying anything or ordering anything immediately. Not ONCE did I feel like they were being polite because it was their job. Not ONCE did I feel like 'just a customer'. If I could give unlimited stars I would, but i'm limited to 5. HIGHLY recommended. We will be back and we are very excited about that!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I picked up my glasses and when I got home noticed my left lens had a purple film. I had to give up my glasses for another 2 weeks. They should have caught this before I even came for the fitting. Had to go back and they offered nothing for my inconvenience. Meanwhile between my out of pocket and insurance it was almost $700. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS at the management level!!!!

This place is awesome! Dr Stephanie Shoults was phenomenal for my crazy 2 year old. Everyone was so patient and kind. My child didn't want to leave and that's saying something!

I appreciate the care Dr. Shoults provided; she took the time to teach me and show me the results which was much reassuring since I'm beign tested for health issues. Thank you.

I had a wonderful experience at Billings Family Eye Care. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great visit. Dr. Jennifer Cross has been my eye doctor for a couple of years and she has always taken care of my eyes! The eye exam was thorough and efficient, and everything was explained to me in a way that was easy to understand. I really appreciated how patient and attentive the doctor was--they took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt confident about my eye health and prescription. The office itself was clean, organized, and had a calm, inviting atmosphere. The selection of frames was also great, with plenty of stylish options to choose from. Overall, I highly recommend Billings Family Eye Care to anyone looking for quality eye care and excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back!

Linsey is amazing the staff is great, Linsey helped accommodate me with my contacts as I was traveling state to state she is extremely knowledgeable very educational, she taught me what contacts would suit me highly recommend this place!
