There are only a few providers that take my insurance in Billings and Emerald eye care was one of them. There wasn't an actual doctor in this office. A technician did the actual vision exam, and the doctor did a telehealth evaluation. He acted like he didn't look through my health information before getting online because he didn't know I had Type 1 diabetes. I wish they would have told me there wasn't a doctor there when I made the appointment. The technician was too fast flipping from option "1 or 2", and I even asked him to slow down. Unfortunately, I didn't get a prescription that I can see with and am not planning on going back.

I have been to Emerald Eye Care for my eye health for some years. The staff are very friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable and relaxed.
From Misty at the front desk, Matt the tech, who is fun to work with, and Dr Beard, every procedure and result was explained in terms easy to understand. With new technology these days, I did not have to have my eyes dilated. Yahoo!
Some people like their old eye doctor because she/he is always there. I get it. The doctors at Emerald Eye Care do come and go, but that doesn't mean they aren't qualified to take care of you. In fact, I think I trust them more because they have current knowledge of new science that's out there. I recommend Emerald Eye Care for eye health.
