I can't remember the last time we experienced such great care at a provider's office! My teenage son had an injury to his eye and after being evaluated in the ER, he was to be seen by an eye doctor within 24 hours. Well, Montana Eye Care was able to schedule him that Friday night for Saturday morning, and Dr. Hasquet was the most WONDERFUL provider. Very friendly, explained everything to my son and I, helped us get pictures even on my phone to share with the family, and was extremely thorough. To know my son instantly felt at ease in his presence, made both of us feel confident in the care he was getting.
THANK YOU for helping make an anxious and unsettling situation so much better! The care was phenomenal!
I was nervous as a first time having to use my eye benefits and some concerns over familial eye disease history. Dr. Kelley and the staff were all professional and reassured me through each step. I am duly satisfied with my experience and am eager to get fitted when my new specs come in.
MADE MY APPOINTMENT months in advance walked in waited 5 min young lady came got me did half a dozen test in seamed like ten minutes. Bright young eye doctor handled me like a gemstone answered complicated questions, I picked out my frames and was home in less than an hour! Did I mention the place is brand spanking new and spacious? I loved it and my new glasses!
After a Fourth of July accident, we met with the doctor late at night. He stayed with us and was so attentive to the situation. He met us again the next morning and sent us to someone who could fix my husbands eye. He then called a few days later to see how we were doing. Absolutely incredible eye doctor. Dr Rob Simmons is wonderful. Your community is blessed to have him.
Excellent doctors and staff, prompt professional service too. Vast selection of frames, everything from dollar stretching budget frames to high end Oakley, Maui Jim's and the like! By far the best choice in Helena for prescription safety glasses. Forget the big box stores like Costco and Walmart especially if you need good quality safety glasses! They only carry a limited selection of frames that are cookie cutter, popular at the time nonsense, and their staff is less than helpful or friendly, you won't have that at Montana Eye Care!
I have no idea why it only has a 3.8 out of 5. My experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff was above and beyond helpful, kind, caring, and (dare I say it) fantastic. Their knowledge and skills are far and away the best I've ever had at an eye care place.
I definitely don't have platinum level insurance, but they treated me like I did. They made me feel important the second I walked through the door. Everyone: the front desk, the optical specialist who adjusted (fixed) my old set of glasses and helped me pick out and measure my new pair, the optic tech who did the preliminary stuff, and the optometrist himself.
Between the new glasses and a box of contacts I had to pay $106 that my insurance wouldn't cover, but I am completely satisfied with the money spent.
They are incredible. I would give them a 6 out of 5 if it was possible. Don't pay attention to the 3.8/5, whoever was dissatisfied were probably jerks. They are 6/5, 10/10, and 1000/1000.
A huge thanks to all the awesome staff yesterday, I've been going to optometrists for years and never had that good of an experience.
I've been going here for over 3 years now and got my many glasses here. Very nice selection.
The employees here are very helpful and courteous.
One employee in particular goes above and beyond his duties.
Mike Marsh. I had two frames that I wanted to combine and make one pair. He had good ideas and implemented them. So instead of me throwing away a new pair of glasses because they just didn't fit my face, I now have a set of glasses that look great. He is by far a over achiever to make sure customers are happy.
Thank you Mike.
Montana Eyecare is cool, but this review is specifically about one of the opticians, Steven. EVERY time we come in, no matter what the reason is, he's eager to help, so warm and understanding, and explains everything perfectly, even annoying questions that I probably shouldn't be asking. He went as far as to explain every step of the way for my pupillary distance, what all the different little machines did, the difference in ALL the lens options, and blew me away with explaining and getting me to sign up for the Eyecare Savings Plan. We've been customers at Montana Eyecare a long time and have NEVER received help this good. Seriously, whatever he's doing, needs to be taught across all jobs in all places. What a guy. Thanks Steven, I LOVE my new glasses.
