Dr. Briggs & Associates

Dr. Rischling was very nice and made my experience fun. My appointment was quick & I like that she challenged me in identifying the smaller letters!

I visited Dr. Briggs' clinic at Costco for an eye exam due to the sudden appearance of floaters in my vision last weekend, and I'm very happy I did. After taking and examining images of my eye, Dr. Briggs discovered a tear in the retina. He took the time to explain to me the importance of having that tear treated by laser as soon as possible to avoid the potential of a retinal detachment. Since he is not certified to perform that kind of laser surgery, he made sure to give me recommendations of places in Omaha that can perform the procedure. He also took the time to write a letter to my employer to exempt me of work duties for the week. From my experience, I can tell you that Dr. Briggs is very knowledgeable, respectful and takes good care of his patients.

He is one of the best, such a blessing to my family. My son is 8, and he takes his time with him, seeing him once a week to help him adjust to wearing contacts until he is ready. My son is adjusting well to contacts, thanks to Dr. Briggs. He is a blessing to my family. This eye doctor is amazing.

Dr. Briggs has been taking care of me and my family for years. He has great bedside manner. He also helped me to be able to wear contacts after years of trying. If your looking for a eye doctor that does it all Dr. Briggs is who you need.

Poor professionalism. I had a 130pm scheduled appointment. Arrived 5 minutes early to allow enough time for paperwork. At 135 the receptionist did the eye tests then proceeded to tell me to sit back down to wait because someone had a follow up before me. Meanwhile Briggs is in an appointment currently with another patient. I stated my appointment was at 130, receptionist stated the follow up would take 15 minutes max. With Briggs being with another patient currently then the 15 follow up after we were looking at 155pm at best for my 130pm appointment. Safe to say I will be switching Costco locations.

Dr. Briggs was super helpful and the prescription was accurate, except that he flipped the eyes. I should have caught it of course, but I hadn't gotten a prescription update in quite a few years so I didn't think of it. He was noncommunicative when requesting reimbursement for the incorrectly-ordered glasses based on the flipped prescription.

Dr. Briggs is an amazing doctor. Myself, being an optician and having first hand experience with dr's and the mistakes other Dr's can make I had complete assurance and confidence in his process. Clean, efficient, super friendly and affordable you can't go wrong. Highly recommend for anyone.

Dr Perez is a fabulous doctor! I have never had an experience like this, he gave me time to ask questions and he explained new information about an eye condition making it easier to understand. No panic, just caring and thorough information. Thanks for a great experience and care.
