Lexye Bruegman, OD - Omaha Eye Doctor

Recently moved to Omaha and had to find a new eye doctor for our yearly checkups and eye needs. Dr. B did not disappoint. She was extremely thorough and explained everything, every step of the way. The staff there are also amazing, from the second you walk in to being greeted with a smile, to when you leave with a "it was great to meet you and your family!" (even if you don't buy glasses that day) everyone you meet there is very wonderful to be around. Thank you all for such a great experience. We have found our family eye care!

Honestly one of the best appoints I've had besides with my newborns pediatrician. The staff was all so hospitable, and attentive. Dr. Lexye Bruegeman was personable, invested, and educational, she even went out of her way to help get my glasses all measured up just to help get home to my baby. 10/10 would recommend this eye doc to anyone!! Thanks for an outstanding service!

I moved from a small town to Omaha recently and was worried that I would never find an eye doctor as kind, caring, and intelligent as the eye doctor I had in North Platte (Dr. Baxter). My wife got to visit Dr. Bruegman before I was able to escape from work and she ranted and raved about how great of an experience she had. When my appointment finally came and I arrived, I was first impressed by how modern the facility was and how well thought out the design was. It has a very modern aesthetic and they even incorporated gaming computer screens for kids into the waiting area. When I met Dr. Bruegman she was very warm, welcoming, and I could tell that she deeply cared for her job and wanted to know more about me to personalize my eye care. She even took the fact that I was scheduled to stay up all night for a kids' game night into factor when considering my eye dilation which I appreciated. The whole first experience was great, and I highly recommend them. On my second experience, my son (who is 6) was wiggling his glasses in his hands and one of the sides came completely loose away from the frames. They had been physically damaged by horseplay a few days before and his frame wiggling was the last straw. He was heartbroken, he loves his glasses! I went in on a Friday afternoon with little notice (the same day I'm posting this review) and the technician was able to straighten the connecting elbow and find a screw to get the glasses back together. The front desk attendant was also very pleasant and helped me understand the insurance coverage for my contacts and the annual amount. I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a high-quality eye doctor in Omaha. I honestly can't think of any meaningful way that this office could be better. It's already one of the best!

I recently got vision insurance and was very nervous going into an appointment due to family issues and not having contacts for years and ALL staff were so kind, polite and did not make me feel horrible! they were so helpful as this was my first time going to an eye doctor on my own! they talked me through everything. not only were they so kind they also wrote me a thank you card for being a new patient! 100% recommend for all ages!!!

Dr. B and the staff at Vision Specialists were so wonderful! The clinic was very clean and modern. I was seen quickly and the entire exam was very quick and efficient as well as professional. Picking out my frames was easy and fun as well. I would highly recommend Dr. B and Vision Specialists!

My visit to Dr. Bruegman's office was exceptional. From the minute I walked in, I felt welcome. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Dr. Bruegman thoroughly answered all my questions. Her staff assisted me with my insurance and helped me find the perfect frames. Highly recommend!

What a refreshing experience from the usual eye appointments. Everyone is friendly from when you walk in to when you walk out the door . They check your prescription not just once but different ways . And Dr Lexye as she prefers . Likes to check your eye health . She actually cares . Not like a lot of Drs who just go through the motions because they don't really care. The three ladies we worked with were all great . Would highly recommend them .

I took my daughter at the recommendation of a local Mom's group suggestion, and boy am I glad I did! Everyone at the office was very friendly and helpful; Dr Bruegeman was excellent with my 12 year old and she explained things so that we could both understand. We will be back! We definitely recommend!
